#1 Harden, #2 Curry, #3 LBJ, #4 WB

If Rockets win 55 games, Harden should get it. Straight carrying that team. No chance they win without him, and I don't even like his game. Hope he chokes in the playoffs again

He hasn't beaten golden state not he hasn't beaten Curry. Can you confidently say that the results wouldn't be the same if you swap Harden for Curry in all 4 games?

Harden's usage is so high because they don't have any other reliable scorers on the team for most of this year. Harden's usage has shot up because the rockets are missing their 2nd and 3rd best scorers from last year. Curry and Harden had similar usage rates the previous two years. Put Harden on the Warriors and his rate would go down and put Curry on the Rockets and his would go up.

Your overrating of harden is something else but that's ok.
Best player in the league is much more of debate than MVP. Harden isn't even a top 3 player in the league let alone clearly better than everyone else. You talk as if he's having an all time season but just last year Dutant was better, easily.

Insane suggestion. He's been very good but biggest turn around? Not even close. The biggest reasons are Lebrons vast improvment (and it had been a huge improvement) and mozgov. Other reasons, team defense, team offense, increased depth and production from bench, I.e swapping waiters for 3 more productive players.

J R Swish has been a reason but no where near the biggest reason.

Durant didn't play enough to be considered best in the NBA.
A bit like LeBron, except LeBron played, but just didn't play well enough for half the season.

what matters is that steph is the star of gsw and harden is the star of houston.
and gsw with steph at its helm flat out gave houston with harden at its helm a big ol' spanking. men vs boys all 4 times.

harden aint getting MVP over steph after that. only lebron and maybe westbrook have a chance now. if its steph or harden, it'll be steph, plain and simple.

It does matter if people are going to say that Steph beat Harden and not the Warriors beat the Rockets. If you aren't confident that the results wouldn't be the same with them swapped it's much more about the team around them than the player.

I didn't mean to suggest it but Jordan could well make a comeback next year or the year after.
The only thing standing in his way is his unwillingness to part with the career PPG record.
