Give Luka AD and Lakers' media coverage and he will be ahead of Greek Freak.

Lol, we just saw Luka's squad play GREAT without him against the best team in the league, and another top 6 team...

He has an AMAZING supporting cast.

Lol, we just saw LBJ's squad play POORLY without AD against an east team and lost... This comes too fast

Imagine Giannis had AD....

But did it? I mean we're one shot away from talking about LeBron being the current MVP frontrunner.

What if Rondo made that three and won the game? Then the narrative is LeBron and the Lakers set the record for best road game win-streak with AD sidelined, one night after the Doncic-less Mavs beat Giannis and the Bucks in Milwaukee.

So, yeah, I don't really see how this definitively hurts LeBron's MVP case.

With Rondo's shot, LeBron is still behind Giannis. You can argue put Luka in LeBron's position the lakers might be better but neither LeBron nor Luka can replace Giannis for the Bucks.

Not one of the guys mentioned but I think you could swap AD for Giannis and the Bucks would still be elite. Maybe people should be talking about AD a little more tbh

That's not true. AD just does not have Giannis' ball handling and passing skills. The Bucks would still be good, but no where close to league's best. Giannis is having an atg season.

Were AD's Pelicans teams ever even good?

When was the last time two players on the same team finished in the Top 5 of MVP voting and one of those players won MVP? Only time I can remember it happening was in 1996 when the Bulls won 72 games.

Ya'll seeing Melo's 12 points and 3 rebounds at the half vs the Golden State Warriors? We are witness.

Melo for MVP?

Might as well since he has a strong of a chance as Towns, whose team is trash and is basking in mediocrity. He's on the poll so might as well, fam.

i think this is legit one of the worst MVP years I can remember tbh, it's pretty much Giannis and a cloud of dust now that Luka got hurt.

I wouldn't count James 'went 8/26 from three last 2 games but still the GOAT shooter' Harden out just yet.

Two too candidates going h2h. Regardless of the result Giannis should still be the front runner but media will take note either way

Giannis is the frontrunner, I still got Luka second, I don't think he's going to miss a ton of time.
