Don't worry, I'll find the way out myself. And I'm not a troll. Just someone who doesn't gamble with things that shouldn't be gambled with.
But you can blame the universe for bad things happening, bad parents or their aunts, or you can take some responsibility for it.

Btw, the Mavs will win the NBA. The only team they should be afraid of is Philly with Embiid. But I think Harden won't be able to stop the Mavs perimeter and thus they win. The Mavs are like the Celtics on defense, but with much better offense. I'm out.

What the ****? How the hell is it cp3's fault for bringing his family to a damn game? Gtfo. A player shouldn't have to worry or "take responsibility" for someone putting their hands on his wife or mom.

I commend CP3 for staying calm, because that guy deserved to leave the arena in an ambulance. But I hope CP3's camp looks into this pursues charges.

Because it's a playoffs game. He also insulted Luka, together with Booker. Plus the entire Suns fans were mocking the Mavs all the time. You bet there were some idiots willing to say something. Just use your brain. Yes, you are responsible for lots of things in your life. Stop being a baby. Good bye and live in your fantasy. You've had everything easy in your life....

Just watched the video, its when he fouls out, hes mouthing to a security guy "He put my hands on my mom".

Wonder if this was happening throughout the game.

If this was happening throughout the game its hard to imagine Paul didn't tell security about it sooner and stop it. OTOH it would explain some of why his mind seemed not fully on the game so IDK?

But I assume video will come out. Nothing gets missed these days.

when the series comes back to Dallas I expect CP3 to be traveling alone.

PS: From reddit.

"I was at the game and there were some annoying ass drunk dudes harassing a Suns family as we tried to get done the escalator. Saying **** like “**** Chris Paul” towards them and their kids."

So you see, it wasn't just "16 year old kid". It's systematic. Stop pretending like this doesn't happen in the NBA. You've got drunk fans, you've got people very angry at CP3. This was all expected. And I can guarantee you game 6 will be like that as well... And so will game 5.

Suns can't stop Mavs' role players now. Both Mavs wins with Luka scoring less than 30.

As Chuck rightly said, if that actually happened then there's no place for that nonsense.

Anyway, can we please see an actual video of what happened? We've recently seen how the Westbrook family used fake death threats and stories about their kid in school to gain sympathy for themselves, when Russell's only gripe was his Westbrick nickname. So I'd like to see the actual video if anyone has a link. I scrolled back a few pages and found nothing.

Also, when CP3 says "he put hands on my mom", what does he mean? Does he mean the fan put his hands on his mom unprovoked? Does he mean his mom tried to slap the kid for chanting something like "F*** Chris Paul" in their direction and he tried to block it? It could literally mean anything with how poorly/inaccurately English is used to describe things these days.

Read the ESPN article. You don't have to believe anyone on social media. There is a statement in there by the Mavericks organization themselves.

Then you continue to dig your grave by suggesting that CP3 made everything up by somehow inserting the Lakers into the conversation.

Bob didn't excuse that at all. Calling him a POS feels way out of line.

Comparing trash talking to assaulting ones family seems out if line too.

Maybe you should read again. I said there is obvious problem with fans in Nba. I even put a word obnoxious fans. No, it's not the same. This's far worse situation. But tell me, how would you stop Suns fan, who was clearly not normal trash talking with Luka, if he decided to do something more? Maybe he will in next game.

Way too much victim blaming going on in this thread.

It's the kid's fault (i.e., the instigator). No one else's. He got ejected from the arena, as he should. Hopefully a lifetime ban as well.

No one can blame the players, the teams, the family for just being there supporting their family member (how is this even a justification?!), the owners etc. It's on the kid.

Don't forget that every team has safety protocols in place to protect fans and players.

I don't care about trash talking. Yelling profanities at a player's family just because they brought them to watch a game should be a permanent ban.

Many NBA players bring their children to games and they should not feel that they are in an unsafe environment.

**** any NBA owner who allows this despicable behavior.

I read the ESPN article. It doesn't say anything different except that this is alleged. I'm also NOT condoning anything, especially not abuse hurled a player's families. Simply asking to see with my own 2 eyes what actually happened. That too much to ask for?

There's CCTV and smartphones all over the place. Does nobody have a video of what happened? :dontknow:

I'm already across the line with getting insulted.

It comes down to this. You are responsible for your family. You have to do everything in your power so that you don't endanger them. However dangerously you want to live by yourself, that's up to you. You can drive 150 miles per hour, you can go climb the mountains (like professionals with tools etc.), you can take drugs, but when you are responsible for someone else, you don't endanger them.

The world is a pretty bad place. It is what it is. But when you're taking care of someone else, you're not in the position to gamble either with their life or with their well being. You can do whatever you want to yourself (but if you have family, you still can't do everything you want, naturally).

Why is there always people in here justifying embarrassing fan behavior? Enough. Ban these jackasses for life, stop selling alcohol and make sure the paying public knows messing with the players is not ok. Always somebody blaming the players in here.

No wonder people feel like they're entitled to act like idiots in games, it's always justified and normalized now, bet there are more than a few that partake in such acts of buffoonery in here going by the comments every time something like this happens.

You're going to hurt your back if you keep reaching that hard. How on earth do you make a connection between me simply asking to see what happened (thus trying to be a voice of reason)... and condoning acts of buffoonery?

If upon seeing the video, the fan acted like an idiot, then I'll be properly placed to call him an idiot too. That's all I'm asking for. This incident didn't happen up in the rafters where there is less chance of it being caught on camera, it happened almost court side. Surely, there is a video of it somewhere out there? :dontknow:

Let me be very clear, in case anyone tries to twist my words or intentions... hurling abuse at a player's family is stupid and bad, and should be stopped. Full stop. But "putting hands on" anyone is worse, so I'm really wanting to see what actually happened there, (i.e., with the "putting hands on"), before condemning anyone accused of doing that.

I didn't say that you moron. Learn to read.
I said that this could be avoided by CP3.

What if someone threw a bottle on CP3's kidd (I'm not sure he had a kidd there)? And what if the bottle would break? And the kidd would bleed from his head? Do you think his wife wouldn't blame CP3 for that? For his entire life? Sure, some terrible being threw that bottle, but CP3 didn't had to put his family in this position.

Unless it's just very common in the USA that family attends away games in the playoffs. To me, being from the Balkans, is just unimaginable.

Both of you, this is final warning on attacking posters. Don't call posters "moron" or "scum of the earth" because of their opinion or in retaliation. Simply report posts you think break forum rules, don't engage, and we will get to them.

When did the accident happen? Just wondering if that affected the CP3 or if he was out of there before it even happened.
