I had Thunder in 5... obviously this has me second guessing my prediction. I was not expecting Indy to win game one but I'll stick to my gut however foolish it may be. I'm now expecting OKC to run Indy out of the building in game 2. I'm thinking game 3 will decide this series.

Carlisle wasn't the coach in 2000... Larry bird was.

My thinking going into this series, OKC wins 3 close games and one blowout. If Indiana continues to keep these games close what if OKC starts to panic? Indiana wins a title

Overrated my ass.

I mean, he shot 6-13, with 10 rebounds and 6 assists.

If that's your "bad game" man, you're killing the game.

Stats are for people who don't watch & understand the game. If you did, you would realize that Haliburton wasn't only bad, he was a detriment to his team in the 2nd half until that last shot. OKC was literally hunting him on offense because he can't guard anybody. And Carlisle took the ball out of his hands because he wasn't getting anything done. He was the worst Pacer on the floor in the 2nd half. Until the shot.

And hey, he is the hero. And rightfully so. You make game winning shots, everything is forgiven. But sucked up until that point.

Or you can just call the Indiana Pacers "Clutch" all playoffs.

I think Turner gets the game ball even with Halliburton’s last second shot.

He was a beast down the stretch.

I been telling people Nembhard is a starting PG on another team. Any team who needs one should trade for him. He's so dirt cheap for Pacers right now but he's earning a big paycheck with his 2nd contract. The guy is a 6'5" PG/CG.

Nembhard has already signed his 2nd contract, it starts next year. 3 years - 59 million

I wanted OKC to win this for SGA to start building a good legacy but it's hard not to like the Pacers.

You have to love teams that never quit.

[Uthayakumar] Tyrese Haliburton is 6-for-7 (85.7%) when taking a shot to tie or take the lead in the final 90 seconds of the 4th or OT this playoffs. That’s the most such shots in a single postseason since 1997.

Siakam blocks SGA, Siakam Score, Haliburton Game-Winner in the last minute. Just a normal day at the office for the Team of Destiny.

From a team standpoint, it's actually great to have a team that has the players to take your primary ball handler off the ball and you can still be effective...and to have a primary ball handler who is useful off the ball.

Many teams have failed to do as well as they could because if the primary guy is being over pressured they just can't support well enough.

I get that but he wasn't really involved until the last 10 seconds because he was not playing that well. I'm just saying he has to be better and I am sure he will be.

I do agree that he has to be better, I also just love when teams don't develop rosters that are so dependent on one playmaker/ball handler to function effectively with to win games.
