Its kind of sad the Knicks could not beat the Pelicans without Zion and the Hawks without Huerter but I am glad Barrett looks to have played extremely well. I feel bad for high draft picks when they struggle. So much pressure; especially in NY.
I can only imagine what Stephen A has been saying lately.
how is it sad when everyone has the knicks as a irrelevant team going into season along with your hawks.

I feel sorry for the players; especially the young players. I thought I made that clear when I mentioned Barrett.
You did a funny, I get it now

Here is a little kool aid for you to have with your Hawk hate. This was posted by another Hawk fan:
Per Chris K, The Athletic Q&A:
That’s to say there will definitely be movement with the Hawks this season and next summer. How aggressive Schlenk is (by aggressive, I’m guessing you mean going after big-time players) will depend on how he views this young core and if he feels like those players are ready to take the next step forward. Schlenk and head coach Lloyd Pierce consistently have said they need to figure out who actually is going to be on this roster and what kind of players they’re going to be before they just go after marquee names.
The Hawks have a direction, and how this team performs early will probably determine if any move is made before the trade deadline: or they wait until next year. The Hawks are sitting on two picks ( Brooklyn and theirs ) in the upcoming draft and three huge expiring contracts. We will see.
