Here's what I think happens tonight - Embiid wins with a great performance against the Bucks and solidifies his MVP campaign in a W.

Embiid played 68 games last year, and is already at 63 this year, two more than Giannis, so you are factually incorrect.

Honestly he probably is, I think he plays this game, and the Celts, and the sits against the Heat/Nets/Hawks. That would give him almost two weeks of rest before the 1st round.

If 76ers lose to Bucks & Celtics, that would be all 5 losses in 5 games against other top teams in the last seven games and the last ten games of the season. Not a good look for an MVP candidacy.

Nuggets have basically secured the 1st seed, so those are meaningless games for them. And he'll still have more games played and more wins than Embiid.

Yes we do want everyone to be healthy for the playoffs. I'm confident it's not a big deal. They should probably be doing the same with Embiid. I hope they do after the Celtics game.

I’m sure he’ll be fine. The playoffs don’t start for like another 2 weeks. I’d want to think the nuggets at least want to hold on to the one seed and he can sit the rest of the season out

Philly got blown out by Milwaukee. This was a key mvp matchup and embiid was bad. Giannis was great.

Is Embiid overrated as a defender? Don't get me wrong, he's an elite help defender and rim protector but he leaves a lot to be desired on the perimeter and always just sits in drop. Plus some average C's have had career nights against him this season. The Biyombo game made me look a bit closer and the numbers are pretty alarming. C's are shooting very high percentages vs Embiid.

Looney - 14/11/9 with 2 blocks on 75% shooting & 6/10/7 on 100% shooting
Capela - 18/20 on 70% shooting & 14/15 on 78% shooting
Jalen Smith - 17/12 on 60% shooting
Vuc - 23/19/3 on 58% shooting (5/7 from 3) & 21/12 on 67% shooting
Boucher - 13/10/2 on 67% shooting
Robinson - 10/16/2 on 80% shooting
Kessler Walker - 15/12 on 100% shooting
Wenyen Gabriel - 14 points on 67% shooting
Claxton - 25/11/2 on 92% shooting
Poeltl - 16/10/5 on 70% shooting and 14/10/2 on 75% shooting

Another efficient night for the Embiid matchup.
