Michael Porter jr averaging 16-10 double-double in last 5 games (at least 8 rebounds in every game). Spectacular rebounding numbers for a small forward which playing just about 25 minutes per game.

Ja just out here quietly going for 16 and 12 on 6-11 shooting and a win.

This rookie class has been much better than I thought it would be.

He and Hayes are close to both lists, but not in (IMO).

This is the most lopsided award of the season.
Ja has it already.
Agreed with most of the mentions on the thread. Some very intriguing players.
ROTY is Morant though and that's over early on.

He's very good, but that's a pretty pathetic trash talk. Telling someone they can't guard you after you use a screen to get open is not a good look. Beat a guy ISO with no help if you want to use that line.

I'm eagerly awaiting the hundreds of "Mattise Thybulle is the most UNDERRATED rookie in the NBA!!!" articles that will ensue after tonight's game. His help defense is otherworldly, and I wouldn't be surprised if he gets on an all-defense team.

He’s legitimately been one of my favourite players to watch this year, and I really think he’s going to be real good.

Thybulle is just a menace on defense, he's like a 1 man zone.

Still early and small sample size, but Lu Dort’s defense has been impressive.
