What's the point of attacking the size of a fanbase? It just shows how insecure you are, and because you're losing the basketball argument, you have to try and poke fun at the fanbase another way.

I mean, it's not exactly a secret that the Nets don't have the biggest fanbase, and that they don't have much representation on RealGM...that doesn't mean the fans they do have are any less passionate than you. And it does nothing to take away from the fact that they're up 1-0.

I mean, do you really think that Nets fans are thinking "damn, we won the first game, but I'd rather have the Raptors fanbase than the win!" We'll take the win, thanks.

Why the notion that the Raptors are playing with house money here? What makes them a 100% guaranteed perennial playoff team in the future?

The team earned a 3 seed, why now all of a sudden pretend that the outcome of this series is meaningless for your franchise?

Actually for these two teams the raptors are the one playing on house money, as they are a young team still developing. The nets are all in this year, are over the cap next year with like 7 players under contract and have no draft picks until 2018

I think the idea is that we're one of the younger teams in the league. In our starting lineup, Derozan is 24, Ross 23, JV 21 (22 soon I think).

I wouldn't call the Nets a brand new team. An expansion team is a brand new team.

For tax purposes a move doesn't count unless it's 40-50 miles. Grizzlies was a move. Ya'll just got a new stadium around the corner. If the tax man doesn't give you credit neither can I.

ps. Where are all the fans that buy all that merchandise? lol They buy it for Jay Z not for the Nets. Pop Culture not Fandom.

Wow,I read back a few pages and a lot of butthurt on both sides.

I figured this would happen, not due to an overwhelming talent difference, but due to an overwhelming experience difference.

Same thing happened to the Blazers their first playoff series with Roy and Aldridge, home court, heavily favored, going against an older, more experienced team that still had some stuff in the tank. I see a lot of similarities here.

I expect Toronto to bounce back and win the next home game but, I don't think the Nets are going to lose at home. Nets in 5.

All I learned from the thread thus far is...

PER is just a quantifiable percentage for Players Emulating Rasho anyway, which is why no one, not even Rasho, can even crack 40.

Now someone please start new thread...
