Why would someone with a 'sore groin' play so much game time?

Very impressive

Impressive numbers but watch the game, there's been some bad moments and some good.

No one plays perfect every game lol

Lonzo got shook by Larry Drew, easily the worst defense out of the guards in this draft, also Lonzo still hasn't shown the ability to effectively shoot the midrange, break his man down off of the dribble, or finish with contact

That's his style of defense. Would help a lot if he had a rim protector behind him. His awareness and instincts in zone on that end are outstanding.

No one has a full package coming into the league. Have some patience , he will only improve with time.

Maybe, just maybe, his sore groin healed enough to feel better because he took a day off. but idk I'm no doctor.

That stuff is great but if he is gonna be guarding point guards he will need to pick his spots and learn to be more fundamentally sound at times. But he is a rook and will develop

Rondo got away with it because he has KG behind him. Lonzo wants to get out and run. His defense compliments his offense.

But yeah he needs to improve on his man defense. Which he will.

Ball look very good tonight, but he has to shot less 3s, like 30-40% of his total shoots as much.
