the police were charged. game on

Charged with a crime underwhelmingly disproportional to to what they actually did. Players are going to be highly upset

maybe but there hasn't been anything to suggest the players are even considering sitting. Brown literally said before the announcement that the didn't expect a charge to come of it at all

Your cousin lied because I also live 12 hours ahead in Hong Kong and the Celtics got blown out by 50.

The CCP has already started manipulating TV. What you saw was a computer generated game. #FreeHongKong

Wonder what the players who have left the bubble are up to. The Bucks can organise the protests they were so keen on during the bubble. Let the season continue

Not even for one second. Is it taboo or at all inappropriate for this site? I can edit that out as the whole post was in jest, anyway.

I feel the same way. I think we are in for an intense battle that's goes down to the wire again. Getting nervous thinking about it.

The only player I'd call hypocrisy on so far is Kyrie. He was the one who said players shouldn't go to the bubble and do social justice stuff instead, and he didn't go to the bubble himself, and ... crickets.

The Bucks are at the other extreme, IMO. They led a very visible boycott. Not long thereafter, they were upset in a basketball series. They've put themselves out there for their cause.

Someone like Avery Bradley, whose main reason for not going to the bubble is obviously a desire not to be separated from his day-to-day life with his family, is in the clear by me, even if you can probably find one or more quotes by him somewhere about his motivations that have less than convincing spin.
Banned temporarily for, among other sins, being "Extremely Deviant".
