Embiid with 40 points and the win against the East leading Bulls. Leads the NBA in scoring... MVP

They both better be on the 1st team all NBA this year. Either one doesn't deserve to be placed on the second team.

In this video he designs his own play during a timeout the other day. Coach Jokic in the future? Who else does this other than lebron. Btw I don't agree with the title of the video

Whether he's MVP or not is one thing, this is insane though, he's an amalgamation of multiple players.

There's a Hakeem one too, but the fact he's so similar to wings is crazy.

Generational player. And he's still getting better... The way he moves and dribbles and fades away with the ball in his hands is something we haven't ever seen from a player at his position or of his size (especially his weight at that height). Blend of Kobe/Harden/Durant/Hakeem/Shaq.

honestly both bigs are neck and neck. I think final record will matter most in the tie factor vote.

What I would really like it is for one to get the mvp and the other to get first team all nba. It would force a change in all NBA to "front court all NBA"

Jokic is having the better season but Embiid is the MVP right now.

Giannis's consistency is keeping him in the race. 25 already in 3rd against the clippers. 19 straight games above 25. If they don't blow a 25 point lead, they will be a .5 game out of 1st in the East.
It's obviously been the Embiid Jokic show so far, but not out of the question Giannis gets hot in the next month.

I know it's not really related to a singular season MVP race, but...

Today was the 500th game of Jokic’s young career, and with 9,552-plus points, 5,069-plus rebounds and 3,058-plus assists, he’s the first player in NBA history to record such numbers through his first 500 games.

Got embiid ever so slightly over jokic atm, but the race is gonna be crazy good the next few months especially with giannis in the mix lurking.

It's been a while since we can say that 3 big men are among the top 5 players in the league.
