We don't know what goes on behind the curtains, but Doncic must have been extremely unprofessional or the mavs' managers are completely mad.

Doncic is younger, more talented and led the team to the NBA Finals last season. I would never make that trade from the Mavs' point of view. Obviously Davis is a great player too. Older, with availability problems.

Lakers will have problems fitting in defensively and with two players who like to have the ball in their hands. But they got a younger, more talented player.

Lakers absolutely ran this by LeBron and got his approval.

They didn't. Every indication is that neither LeBron nor any other player knew about this until it happened. Even watching his post-game interview, you can tell he had no knowledge of it whatsoever. Doesn't look like he's happy about losing AD either.

Has more to do with the players around him. He has to make up for their defensive mistakes every night and produce on offense. Hes the ONLY reason they have a ring in the last few years. Have they won a play off game with out him?

Sounds great, but no one believes this. No one believes the League won't bend over backwards to make Luka Doncic a success in Los Angeles, just as it always has with its biggest stars - in whatever market they happen to play.

In case I was too subtle, "bend over backwards" means... whatever you want it to mean.

You kind of have to wonder if Silver made the call or whatever and there is money thrown under the table. Silver was sitting on 100,000 BTC and transferred a portion which is untraceable to the Mavs to facilitate this...who knows.

It's pretty stupid for a GM to do this and know they will get killed (the owner also) GM's job is all about 'job survival' and this is the opposite of what a rational person would do.
