"Gamer" means performing at whatever level is necessary to win the game. He's playing D, draining shot after shot, and has suddenly turned into Ray Allen, all simply because his team needed it.

Guy just rises to the occasion. Legendary.

I know they haven't won the game yet, just saying.

Bring back Biz. Scola is trying but he doesn't have it.

What a genius move Casey, play a man that hasn't played in like 2 weeks.

Hoping he'll relive the glory days from that first quarter of that Celtics game.

It's the Mike Woodson line of thinking. I like to call it the "do what the opponent will never expect." Woodson used to force pick and rolls to the middle and Casey is playing guys who are at the very end of his bench. Nobody expected either.

Imagine that

Raptors finally drive inside with no shot blocker and they get a bucket

Gotta think Scola is on his way to the Clippers (aka the NBA retirement home) for the next 2-3 years before he retires.

I was wondering the same thing. Also how bad is Whiteside's injury?

LAC is the NBA's Florida - where the old go to retire.

Man if Whiteside is seriously hurt, I really feel for him. He was lined up for life-changing money this offseason - he likely still gets a deal regardless, but this could be tens of millions lost if it turns out to be bad.

On the flip side, let's say it is bad and he's out until training camp. Whiteside signs a one year deal worth 15+ to prove himself. Cap jump and he's in line for the max with the NEW new cap.

Pierce didn't even look like he was toast before he went there and he goes there and he instantly ages another ten years. I'm shocked Gerald Wallace didn't end up there after he got waived over the summer.

Thank god Wade didn't play like this in 2014.

Well, Wallace hasn't officially retired so there's still hope. Doc gonna Doc. If they don't bring back Aldrich, Haywood is a FA and is up there in age.
