The key is Adams staying in the game, if he can avoid foul trouble it's a different game.

Utah is so much more fun and organized to watch than okc don't care about big names. 2nd round would suck without LeBron who been to finals 7 years in row? Lmao

I won't lie for the casual NBA fan, outside of PHI, the East is probably gonna be of very little interest without LeBron should he lose to IND but the series should be hella competitive.

Just for that sake alone I hope bron doesn't get bounced in round 1 because there will be more talk on what's Lebron next team? Instead of the teams still chasing the dream in the playoffs

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

Yeah - I still stand by how the issues started when Adams got in foul trouble. People were hating on Westbrook but I think he’s had much worse games than this - he really wasn’t that bad. Lack of offensive rebounds was OKC biggest issue. That and Rubio shooting unusally well. Whatever, they lost. I hope they get it together though cause I want to see them play Houston in the 2nd round (assuming they are going to win)...

I personally think HOU/Utah will be fun n always have thought so.

Utah can maybe win 2 games against Houston but the series just does't generate excitement.

Idk I think Mitchell n Harden going head to head with Gobert/Capela doing likewise would be fun. Utah is also a great defensive team against an offensive juggernaut with a couple of HOU leaders that have a past almost as *ahem* "checkered' as my Raps "leaders" in clutch moments...

Personally I wasn't one of the people that thought the series prior to HOU/GSW would be of real threats short of Kawhi coming back so to me this series would be fun as any.

Melo and George are going to have to battle for boards, and I'm not sure if they're up to it, tbh

I dont understand why it is a forgone conclusion that Oklahoma will win. Yes they have marquee names, but over 82 games they tied utah in wins and losses. This is an even match up.

I realize the marquee names on the OKC roster, but they failed to dominate in the regular season.

Agree thats the most annoying aspect of Thunder and Cavaliers being bounced in round 1 is we'll have hear about where Lebron and George will go for the next two months. Having Lebron knocked out is worse for the nba than Thunder though, the east playoffs would draw no attention. The west matchups would still draw a little juice.

The thunder went 3-1 vs Jazz in regular season and were considered generally to match up decently with them. Also usually the more veteran star teams wins these kind of series. OKC is a dysfunctional mess and we may need to accept that "the big 3" is just not really as good as people perceive.

Well Philly would still draw in some attention.

They seem to be the next media darling.

100%...but I’m not sure how he does it :/... I heard them talking in pressers, etc. how they knew it was a key to the game and he still got in foul trouble :(.

He got a free pass last season, supposedly because he had "no help", but can you really build a contender around Russ?

OKC went 3-1 against the Jazz, but let's not forget those 4 games were all pretty much in the first half of the season.

Whats your point? Westbrook is still light years ahead of any player on the Jazz roster.

Westbrook is definitely the best at turning the ball over. What a stud!! Westbrook Utah Jazz MVP!!!

My original pick was OKC in 7, not sure now. Likely outcome now would have to Jazz in 6.

Unless Utah lay a complete egg at home, I'm not sure how OKC can win in Utah.

He may have a ring right now if he didn't get injured in 2013, or Durant didn't get injured in 2015, or Durant didn't choke in 2016 but I kind of agree I am not sure you can build a contender with him as the lead piece. This is definitely going to be one of his most disappointing playoff losses if he doesn't come back and win this series.

No way you can ride off OKC like that.
So many reasons why,
1) Game 2,3 none of their stars even show up in 4th Q you can't bank on that four consecutive games if could but I wouldn't just say yeah it can easily happen.

2) Ricky Rubio had a career game so will see

Certainly not writing OKC off. Likely outcome now has to be Utah in 6. With two home games in the next three.
