Siakam has played this well before, and virtually nothing about what he did tonight was unusual for him. He's a legit elite finisher at the rim, that's all. I don't think there was even one 'circus shot' for his standards.

Granted, he probably won't quite hit 82% or whatever it was again, but that's it.

Raptors are an excellent road team so a 2-0 lead would have more significance than usual
And any lead is big, because Kawhi is so clutch he can prevent a collapse.

Whole lot of overreacting going on.

Raptors did what they needed to do against a team coming off of a 9 day lay off while also traveling to another country in a really electric environment.

And even then GS was a single run away from pulling this one out. They couldn’t have played worse.

Raptors have to continue this pace of play and also be able to bring it on the road(which is going to likely decide this series)

Toronto has to get game 2. The less games they’re forced to win on the road the better. Also they want to win as many games as possible before Durant returns(if he returns)

Really? Flying skyhooks that almost hit the shotclock before banking in when he can barely see the rim aren't unusual?

Sorry, I meant Siakim played a perfectly normal game and there was absolutely nothing flukey about it. It was big of you to acknowledge that Siakim shooting 82% might possibly maybe potentially not be sustainable though.

yea the hook shot and tip in were lucky, but all those other shots he's been hitting all year. You need length on him if he has enough space he'll shoot a high percentage more often than not.

Speaking of Siakim, Mark Jackson asked what the record was for consecutive made field-goals in the NBA Finals.
Has anyone beat Michael Jordan's 1991 record? I think he made 13 in a row 8-)

Boogie can't play. He couldn't beat his man back and after a tape session that's just not allowable. Iggy tweaked his calf.

I don't think GSW win even with KD.

Siakam has definitely thrown a spanner into the works.
Lowry need not score, Kawhi can be quiet, and they cruise to victory :o
It also helps that Danny Green has Finals experience.

 one shot huh. Sure looking at the highlights:

That one was higher difficulty degree than i was thinking. That and maybe one other bucket were all that was anything out of the ordinary. Hardly the freak show performance you were presenting it as. Not even close.

Sixers and Bucks had great defense and great length. Warriors D without Durant is just ughhhh...

But GS has the best defensive player in nba history Mr Draymond Green...

Draymond is a great team defender, high IQ and a good communicator. But people who watch know he's not a one-on-one lockdown defender. Marc and Siakam scoring 52 just proves a point. Marc is somewhat similar, but he works better in Toronto because they have a ton of solid and lengthy defenders.

The freak show performance was shooting 82% from the field. But you got it man. Cant wait to see Siakim prove me wrong the rest of the series and hit 8/10 high difficulty shots per game. Because like you said, nothing about what he did tonight is unusual. Christ.

Siakam had to go through 2 series going up against Embiid and Giannis/Lopez....his eyes light up when he sees the Warriors lack of length/size.

If you wanna refresh your sieve-ass, porous mind, you said the freak show was him "hitting circus shot after circus shot". Implying flukey makes on flukey kinds of shots. All i did was point out that was obviously wrong. Which triggered the **** out of you for some reason.

If you all you want to do is argue that Pascal isn't going to be averaging 82% throughout the series, like i said (and i'm glad you picked up on the glib tone in my original comment too, nothing gets past you), we're in full agreement.

Looking forward to Siakim going nuclear the rest of the series. Like you all are saying, nothing about tonight was unusual, so what else would we expect? Cant wait to get you guys' takes on next game's unusual supernova performance.

Is Bogut really unplayable vs Gasol? Seems like Kerr might get some more useful minutes out of Bogey than Cousins at this point in time.

The Raps size is a problem, Bogut could provide some help.
Rest in peace Kobe & Gianna

I'm not saying he's going to shoot 82% again...but he averaged 18.7 pgg going up against Magic, Sixers, Bucks..3 teams that have great defenses, and are tough matchups specifically for Siakam because of the length/size. Warriors will adjust for Siakam, and he'll still be able to put up 20 points, but on worse efficiency, that's when others will step up....Kawhi won't be this inefficient again.

Siakam played incredible, give him his props...was stupid good tonight...confident in his movements and ran the floor like a horse breaking our transition defense down over and over again.

need more length, i want more Bogut in G2, more Bell to run the court, less Boogie and less Jerebko.

offensively more Curry-Green PnRs in half court sets...also we need a 3rd scorer badly...no sure where that output is gonna come from honestly.
