What exactly was wrong with Beasley's speech? He has a bit of an accent and he stutters a lot, but i could definitely interpret every word he was saying.

I think sometimes you guys just like to bash athletes for the sake of bashing them.

Beasley looks less...weird with his face hidden behind that DS-quality goatee.

Yep, they will get beat a lot this year.

That is why they are "the" team to beat.

I will grant you that it can impair judgment, but it certainly doesn't kill regular brain cells. Your body produces natural chemicals that are very similar to the active ingredients of pot, which interact harmlessly with the brain (and other body functions). This is (basically) why you cannot die by using it too much, no such thing as a marijuana overdose.

Actually, there are some brain cells that have been shown to die with introduction of THC, but they are strictly cancer cells. In quite a number of recent studies they have found that THC causes several forms of cancer cells to atrophy. Initially they found this using cancerous tumors in the brains of mice, but have also shown decreased levels of (human) lung cancers in marijuana-only smokers.

Obviously a controversial subject, but if you disagree you should check this out:

I don't really care about the legality of pot but talking about how XYZ is found naturally in the body probably not the best argument... Testosterone is found naturally in the body does that make steriods any better? Dopamine is found naturally in the brain, cocaine simply inhibits the reuptake in the brain... Does that make it any better?

Again this is not an argument against pot's legality, simply against the argument in and of itself.

Lol some of you take things to seriously, hes obviously just concerned about his team, so hes was obviously trying to give respect to his team,if you watched the interview, he said the Lakers are the real team to beat.

I like Beasley. I don't know why he gets so much hate. He basically said nothing wrong in this video. He said LA is the team to beat, but he has confidence in his team. I expect him to have a great season this year.

"Honestly, and I know a lot of people are not going to like that fact that I'm going to say this but I think we are the team to beat. You know, that's just me and my ego speaking," Michael Beasley told Timberwolves.com when asked about the Miami Heat being the team to team to beat.

Kahn made a deal with Beasley that if he puts up better numbers this season Kaun will hook him up with the FIRE Weed!

So far my opinion of Kahn is that he is just throwing a bunch of crap on the wall and hope some of it sticks.

I like Wesley Johnson as a prospect. Not sure I like him where he was drafted. I thought the kid did a great job during March Madness. He completely locked up Matt Bouldin from Gonzaga in his final game as a senior and as the leader of the Bulldogs last year. Everything went through Matt, and Wesley completely took him out of the game defensively.

I was completely impressed with Love during the FIBA games. I thought he should have recieved more minutes.

Not sold on Rubio what so ever but worst case he is still a trading chip.

I'm curious to see what happens with Flynn this coming season. He had a decent rookie year, I expect him to get better.

But Beasley to me is really their wild card. It's obvious the kid has talent but it is also obvious the kid is a wreck. If he can live up to some of his potential he shold be a solid player. But damn right about now he is flirting with bust status considering where he was drafted.

But I'm really curious to see how the T-Wolves shake out this year.

It's nice to see somebody try to fight back but as of now, the Lakers are still the team to beat.

Obviously he was joking and later said the Lakers were the team to beat. Way to read too much into it.

It's something called heart. Something that the Wolves didn't have last year & for the past few years. He's staying positive and wants the Wolves to succeed. Love his attitude.

Note: The marijuana jokes are getting old.

Seriously, some you make it seem like its crack, i'm sure half of you have smoked it at least once.

People see a pic that "looks" like weed on a table that could be anyones, and make it seem like the dude smokes it every second
