Over on San Antonio. Spurs were a 55 win team last year according to Pythagorean W-L and that was with Parker missing 26 games. And now we add Splitter, often called the best big man in Europe, and another year of experience for Blair, Hill, Jefferson, and Dyess?

Barring injury, which is the same factor for all teams, Memphis should go well over 38.5. They improved their bench and both Randolph and Gasol are in contract years.
