This.

Plus I'd file an assault-charge against him. That had nothing at all to do with sports. It was just about injuring Barea.

Somewhere between 5 and 10. It was clearly a foul committed out of frustration and petulance, he didn't even try to pretend he was going for the ball, it was the sort of thing that could have caused very seriosu injury to Barea, and he's done similar things in the past. He doesn't really have anything going in his defence.

Interesting, but I think suspensions are necessary. Attempts to injure players should hurt the team of the offending player as well. He shouldn't be on the floor for a while after this. 5-10 games sound right to me. It's the 3rd time he's done something like this, and this was clearly intentional.

10 games. I wouldn't be surprised if one of these days someone retaliates for those cheap fouls. He's a big dude but wouldn't take much to shatter that glass knee of his.

I think the league set the precedent with Ron Artest. So 70 games sounds about right.

5-10. Though I wouldn't object to more. The fact that it was his third time doing this is pretty alarming and needs a serious consequence.

The same amount of games Wade got for bending Rondo's arm in half: 0.

If Wade didnt get suspended neither should Bynum.

That was a flagrant foul, but it was just an elbow to the armpit, it wasn't like he punched the guy in the head, or put his hands on him and threw him. Plus he wasnt even hurt. No big deal, its the playoffs, hard fouls happen, move on....

Speaking of Dirty, he is also a pretty egregious at trying to hurt people while going over the back on rebounds too.

Thanks for posting that. Agreed with the reptition of the violations that he should get sent a nice, strong message. If Ron gets 71 games, Bynum deserves 70.

Wades was definitely cheap, but they were more tangled up than anything else. Bynum's a repeat offender. 3 strikes and you're out. That was malicious and considering the circumstance he needs to be booted for a very long time.

If he gets 5-10 games he'll lose at least that in game checks.

15-20 games. Its not Artest melee-level, but its still dangerous, no-class behavior that could have easily caused an injury, from a player with a history of that.

Damn at those 3 plays. Should get 30-40 games for repeat offense.

Beasley is a tough dude for someone who plays so soft... got right up from that!

No, but with Ron is was a continually thing that led to the severity, Had that happened to say, Grant Hill and he rushed the stands, it would've been a 20 game suspension or something. Also, ron didn't instigate anything in that melee. He was assualted by Wallace then attacked by a thrown object from the stands. It was reactive. What Bynum did was pre-meditated, that's far worse in my eyes.

Bynum is on record for doing this not once, not twice, THREE FREAKING times and one led to a serious injury. I think it deserves far more than 20 games.
