He's absolutely right.

No body can defend players like Lebron, Wade, Kobe, Dirk, Durant 1v1. You must send help baseline or double team.

I don't see what's controversial about this statement. He's the best player in the league, he's right. Some players can slow him down on a possession or even a small stretch, but for a 48 minute game? Nobody.

Did u think of saying the samething about Kobe when he said he can beat LbJ 1 on 1??, Im just asking.
And why dominate a 1 on 1 league, when he's making millions Dominating a 5on5 the League he's in Now.

too bad this is a TEAM game, besides lebron is not that skilled if he doesnt get a screen, he doesnt have the footwork and finesse that wade has, hes more of a sheer strength and raw power type of player. he is unstoppable when he hits that jumper though, but that can be said about alot of people

Noah didn't stop him on that play. LeBron stopped himself by not going hard to the rim because he didn't want to shoot free throws or expecting the ref to bail him out. Regardless or whatever went through LeBron's mind, Noah didn't bother LeBron any more than LeBron bothered himself.

Uh oh... This would really concern me if I were a Heat fan. Now we know why Lebron aborted the offense and activated HERO MODE down the stretch of game 4. For Lebron this run is all about HIM not the Heat.

They asked him about his Match-up with Marion, he didn't just say it for **** n giggles. In any case, it's no more of a concern than having him say that he's going to attempt easier shots by getting into the paint.

I'm pretty sure he means one on one, with no help defense coming after he's gone by the first man. But really, a lot of players in the league can't be guarded one on one, by that definition.

Agree there are a lot of players that can tear it up 1 on 1. But man LBJ can pound the ball sometimes for no reason

That's a concern? That's what he should be doing...Attacking the rim and getting to the line is his strength....He's not Ray Allen....Keep it simple and do what works

I'm refuting the point he made about Lebron's statement possibly foreshadowing an episode of hero-ball tomorrow.

He's right

But people talking about him not taking to the rim late in the game

He had 4 Fouls for the majority of the 4th quarter... He did attempt to drive once, but shooting those jumpshots he didn't want to get called for a charge. Gaining his 5th foul, and pretty much playing pedestrian on the defensive end on whoever he's guarding.

Then again, if that was the case. he should have simply given it to Wade. But Wade himself was chucking jumpshots.

But whatever doesn't matter now.

But back on topic, all elite Superstars are hard to guard 1on1

that's a terrible excuse... the best finisher in the league shouldn't be afraid to drive in order to avoid picking up an offensive foul... that's ridiculous.

Sadly, the game is five on five.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

One of the players that could defend him, Lebron ended up joining him to take a even more easy way out. Plus does this guy ever just shut up and win a few rings before talking.

Wade cannot defend Lebron at all. Lebron used to destroy him

Good thing basketball isn't played 1-on1.

 They rarely matched each other one on one and Lebron never "destroyed" anything 1 on 1 vs Wade. They both had epic battles against each other.
