when did he complain about his pay ?

I meant making $14.2 million in a less than ideal location. For 6 freaking months.

I mean I understand where he is coming, chauncey getting moved around like crazy, he never even wanted to leave Denver.

Its a business when owners trade players, but its a lack of loyalty when players wanna move on. Complete nonsense

Wonder if the Knicks can sign him back and if he would sign back with the Knicks if he clears waivers....

He still gets paid his 14 million, Knicks get Chandler, Knicks still get their PG...

One can dream right :)

What if the Pistons pick him up?

Will he be pissed because they suck or will he be fine with it because that's where he had the most success? And plus his old buddies are still there (Hamilton, Prince, Wallace).

I don't know.

to his credit, he's more willing to walk away from it than take a payday when it won't be worth it for him or the team.

Doesn't make sense with Miller and Lawson there.

I was going to suggest Detroit but its the same situation with too many guards...... but it is Dumas we're talking about.

Just a statement to get bottom feeder teams to think twice before claiming him off waivers

All I know is I'd hate to see the dude go out like this, he's still capable of ballin' at a relatively high level.

Hope he's just sellin' wolf tickets to non contending teams.

How is he pissed off? He went from making 4 million dollars this summer to be a FA to making 14 million? Would he have been this upset if the Knicks didn't pick up his option and he missed out on that 10 million?

I wonder if the new rules allow a player picked up off amnesty waivers can be traded at a later date.

He's posturing so teams will pass and he can control where he goes. He's using the only leverage he can to do exactly what everyone else is doing - pick their own spot.

Someone will call his bluff because there is no downside to trying.

Unclear if they will put in a claim, but Clippers an interesting possibility for soon to be waived Billups. Would fit in well.

This reminds me of a guy I knew when I was 6 yrs old, whenever teams were picked and he didn't like the team he was on, he would cry and run away

I hope he retires
