Stuckey is 25 going 26 this season.

With the exception of last year, he is an inefficient guard that lacks 3PT range and the inability to finish around the basket for his whole career. He is not really a 1 or a 2. He's a combo guard.

I mean, if he had the season he had last year 2-3 years ago and improved from there, he would have an argument of getting $10 million per year. But right now? haha nope.

He probably wants $10 million per year if he's gonna stay. He doesn't want to be in Detroit. If they want him long term they'll compensate him. It's not like if he leaves they'll suck because of it.

Stuck is a RFA- if he can fool someone into signing him to a 10 million offer sheet- then that great for him but I doubt it.

When the dust settles- I bet Stuck signs a 5/40 deal- and even that may be an overpay.

May be? Anyone signs him to that deal, they're a certified moron. Paying a guy like stucky 8 million a year? He's a decent rotation player, that is ALL.

Seriously, is he living in some delusion where that one playoff series a couple years ago has extended over his whole career?

Stuckey deserves 2 years 12 million, and that's ALL. He will probably end up with 4 years 25 mil.

I almost want the FO to overpay and then cry about how unfair things are. Furthermore, Stucks isn't an idiot because he wants 10 million per. Why should he aim low when moronic management just might give into demands?

if stucks had a consistant three point shot then i'd pay him 1 or 2 mil more. however he doesnt. so 5-7 mil it is

If Detroit was gonna sign him to 10 per, they would've done it by now. Thats why we are still negotiating.

Stuck prob started at 10 per

Joe D prob started at 5 per

I dont anticipate Stuck getting 4/20 or 4/40- he will prob get something in between.

He deserves a deal similar to Prince's. I'd cap it at 7M per on average though. He's not as bad as some people on here think, but in no way is he a 10M per guy.

I'm guessing this is just bargaining. Joe probably came with 6M per, Rodney comes back with 10M per in hopes that he'll get 8M. I hope they don't give him 8, but it doesn't really matter from Detroit's perspective. We aren't going to attract some big name free agent even if we had the cash.

I don't think Stuckey is worth more than MLE type money. And that might be too high considering he hasn't proven to be consistent or even that he has a position. It's funny that he was supposed to be Detroit's franchise PG and he's probably not even a PG. Detroit is lucky Knight fell to them, has there even been mention of another team being interested?

I actually think Stuckey could be worth $10 million a season if he were playing next to a legit PG that can shoot. That being said, I do not think he should get more than $7-8 million at this point.
