Or a team of franchise players to an embarassing Finals loss.

How about getting beat by one of the greatest playoff teams in the last decade?

Tearing down LeBron and Co means you're giving no credit to how good Dirk and Co were last year. Dirk 2011 was the most impressive playoff performance I've ever seen since Shaq 2000-01.

Wtf did I just read? :o

If this list is primes, then I could see it.

Too bad Gordon will never have a prime.

Dude isn't that good.

Maybe they're talking about players in their current form.

But then again that can't be true because of how high Nash is on the list.

......seriously?

So what does that say about every team they beat on the way there (even sweeping the Lakers?)

Last years Mavericks were STACKED and had a very well rounded roster.

Kidd/Barea
Stevenson/Terry
Marion/Brewer
Dirk/doesn't matter
Chandler/Haywood
Dammit...:

I've got Nurkic fever now.

Defends well, improved as a playmaker last season, undersized height wise, but has good length and strength. Can get to the basket and to the line and can shoot from the outside.

With all that said, I have no clue how he made the list, lol. That doesn't mean that he isn't really good when healthy though

Nash makes all his teammates look good...and so i wasn't surprised the players voted for him...also, look how he made Amare look and now how Gortat looks. I really think Nash can play at this current level for another 3-4 yrs. He takes care of his body.

Why is a Kobe bryant in his 16th season on that list. Its ludacris to start a franchise with a 33 year old guard...

Maybe they were thinking a younger Kobe. My main beef on that list is Dwight @ #2. Dwight is nowhere near a complete player. I'd probably have him 8th on that list. I'd rather have a multi-talented guard or small forward to build around.

I'd take Durant at No 1, Lebron No 2, Kobe No 3.

38's Nash? Pau? RUBIO? Come on...

Give me Dirk and you can have those three.

How can you not take LeBron he does EVERYTHING on the court for a team. Durant can score but is not a play-maker or defender. Howard can defend but is a liability offensively and late in games at the charity stripe. Derrick Rose is a volume shooter and NOT the kind of player you want to build your team around. As much as I hate his psyche and intangibles you have to go with LeBron and add some closers on that team so they can carry him in the 4th.
