That's surprising considering who the Clippers owner is.

Good 4th big. Nothing more or less just a 7-2 260 rebounding monster.

This is his 4th season with Memphis and they badly wanted to resign him last year. He can play, but never got a chance, 2/2 in 5 min his career stats.

He can definitely get some time on a squad that plays bigger... Memphis usually goes really small against teams once Gasol comes out. Aside from that (and good for Memphis) Gasol plays a lot of minutes with low fouls and rarely gets hurt... All of that is bad for Hamed.

Against teams with size.. Celtics (when they had size), Utah (when they had size last year), Lakers etc... he gets more minutes and actually plays pretty efficiently when he keeps his fouls down

This year he appears to be in a lot better shape and tonight played against the Lakers, he played with more confidence than I have ever seen... Left Handed Hook Shot looked easy for him

His per minute shotblocking numbers have been awesome for his whole career, obviously he barely plays, but for 4 seasons it's been the same. I get a similar vibe about him as I did with Gortat when he was backing Howard up and could only play like 8 mpg. But I've hardly watched him play, my main question now is about how mobile he is. Can he cover pick and rolls decently, or is he just a giant stiff (which he probably is)?

He is more suited to play 80s/90s brand basketball
He is kinda slow, but big, rebounds and he's likeable - I'm euro and I always root for non-US players

Maybe he has some confidence issues, he beasts at times in FIBA he should beast against some smaller front-lines in NBA as well, he doesn't for some reason. He is no Nikola Pekovic but still I'd expect him to score more.

Not the first time he had great numbers in very limited minutes... Not thread worthy.

Eh, Mike Smith annoys me usually, but c'mon man, Ralph Lawler is a legend. I wish we still had the Lawler/Walton duo in the booth.

He has terrible foot speed and looks incredibly lumbering and slow against most bigs. In addition, he has never seemed to be in good shape for the speed of the NBA game because he always looks gassed after 2-3 minutes. FWIW, he has a very high basketball IQ, I just don't know if he physically can keep pace with the bigs in the NBA. The Grizz taking Thabeet in 2009 and playing him over Haddadi really seems to have stunted Haddadi's development.

There are always discussions of non-black players on GB. Not sure why, but that's always the case.

Usually, people has to disagree before there is a discussion.

Haddadi always had talent, he should be a rotation player based on his offensive game alone in todays league, but he never really got the chance. Look at his PER36 numbers, and his international stats, he could be a 12/10/2 center with starter minutes, a good rotation player. The Heat should really target him when he's a free agent.

^^ Best post of the whole thread.
Whenever I see him play, he does seem to do good in his limited minutes. If he can get stronger he can be a solid back up center or even a starter on some teams.
