AI>>>>Rose

Because Iverson made it to the finals /green

I think prime Iverson in today's NBA could be viewed as anywhere between Kobe-caliber and Monta Ellis-caliber. Both inefficient chuckers.

Except one of those "inefficent chuckers" is an all-time great.

Derrick Rose isn't some efficiency monster either... Kobe had one of his worst years efficiency wise, but kobe's efficiency has been routinely more efficient than any of the guys compared.

In a non-handchecking, perimeter-championed era to boot.

I almost made an Andre Iguodala Scenario thread, but I figured that would be pushing it.

He would possibly be borderline top 5, but more like top 10. The PG class hasn't ever been this stacked.

BlunnTashiz wrote:It's unfortunate he wasn't in his prime during the post handcheck era, because his balls-to-the-wall style of slashing(similar to Dwade) would have transitioned favorably and been reflected in his FG%.

I believe he was fairly efficient in his Nuggets stint, which could be an indicator of what his efficiency would have been like if he say, came into the league around 2006.

Yep. Playing in his prime in this era, along with having better complementary offensive teammates, he could put up 28-30 points and 7-8 assists on 55-57% TS%.

TyCobb wrote:The guards these days are bigger, stronger, and still just as quick as 2001 Iverson. He'd still obviously get his shot off though. He'd probably average 26.8 PPG and 80.7% from the free throw line.

What a terrible post? Who are these guards that are just as quick as iverson?

Iverson was one of the best atheletes the NBA has ever seen. Hes way quicker than any of Westbrook, rose, wall or wade! on top of that his endurance>>>>>> any of the other guards

I'd take westbrook and rose over him. He wouldn't be top 5.

Scoring title winner easily.

Offensively, this is the least talented it's been IMO.

K.D. is awesome, Lebron's great,

but neither are the dominant scorers that Shaq, T-Mac, A.I. and Kobe were.
:o LeBron is 0-7 in game winning/tying FGs in the finals. And is 20/116 or 17% in game winning/tying FGs in the 4th/OT for his career. That's historically bad :o
