Dunno if it could work. The beauty of the first movie was that it had other all-stars take a back seat in the plot in order to give Jordan the limelight.

I couldn't see Kobe/Durant/Rose/Dwight pretending to all of a sudden suck having lost all their skills to little aliens. Only way an SJ2 could work is if other guys had a bigger role, but then it becomes less about the toon squad.

I'd be down for a reboot of Like Mike though since the first one showcased a lot of stars.

lebron should be the star. but very much like the plot of the first space jam was the looney toons helping everyone get their talents back, this time around the looney toons should be battling it out with the monstars trying to get lebron's hairline back.

Then at the very end when the Monstars are about to win. MJ comes out of the locker room for the Tunes and cements his GOAT status by beating the **** out of Lebron and the Monstars...boom make it!

My plot would be that Nerdlucks shows up with a new bunch of aliens who learned the game on their own. (Like a play on how the foreign players have come up over the years)

Then Nerdlucks says he has a secret weapon that'll put them over the top that way find out later.

So the toons go to Michael Jordan again but finds out he's to old so then they go for Lebron and Lebron says he'll decide later.

Fast Forward to the Decision in Loony toon land where the Toons and Monstars team all gather and at the last second Nerdlucks uses his secret weapon of Mind control to get Lebron to choose them. (Movie twist)

Toons are losing big after the first quarter and Jordan shows up realizing anything can happen in Looney toon land and helps bring them back a bit before blowing out his knee. Ohh no what are we going to do? Oh look Lebron's spell conveniently wears off in time for him to switch sides some way and the toons come back and win with Jordan coaching on the side lines.

Kevin Hart plays the comedian role and we see special appearances from Charles Barkley, Dwight, Stephan A, some of the Heat players, some of the Bobcat players, Dwight, Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and Kyrie Ivring.

Dudes... Space Jam came out in a perfect time. There were actually movies being made like that. Now we have ADD hollywood CGI crap being thrown left and right. I mean, the original was just more interesting with Michael Jordan than this would be with Lebron. And Bill Murray?
