Would anyone trade for PP at this point? If he can get a buyout, where does he end up?

I'm not quite sure I believe this, but teams would take him. He's a large expiring if nothing else.

Something like Pierce to the Bulls for Boozer and Dunleavy could happen.

I was thinking about getting a Garnett Nets jersey, should I hold off now since we don't know what's going to happen if he gets traded?

1. Fire Kidd and king
2. Dwill and ak47 for Lin asik and parsons
3. Attempt to trade jj to a dumber gm if that's possible.
4. Pp for Kmart + filler

Lin
Kmart
Parsons
Kg
Asik
Terry 6th man

Summer trade asik for picks.

That's a fourth seed at worst in the east

There is a 0% chance the Rockets would give up Parsons

Pierce and KG are working undercover for Boston, to make sure those picks are awesome.

But seriously, how awesome is it going to be for Larry Frank when Kidd gets fired and he gets named coach (hasn't been bought out yet, under contract for 6 years)?

AWKWARD.

"Oh... hi, Jason."

"Larry."

"Is that a box?"

"Yes."

"Are you going to... CLEAN OUT MY DESK? EAT THAT, HAHAHAHA!"

*Kidd looks at floor and shuffles off*

"You can leave that bottle in there!"

D.Will and AK47 aren't even close to Lin, Asik, Parson value wise. Like not even in the same stratosphere. No one wants a washed up, overpaid D. Will. AK47 is nice but he hasn't been healthy at all.

To me he is the third best player in the NBA - Luka and Embiid are comfortably ahead of him.

Morey would have to be dumber than the GM in your number 3 for this to happen

Lin himself is probably more valuable than DWill at this point.

Less money, less baggage, less ego, better defense, younger.

i agree that the nets will get better value, but you guys have to know that most GMs still will trade for DWill as if he is a star.
Morey himself asked for Dwill for lin + asik. king didnt even listen, and it was just a formality, but morey would totally do it if he thought that king might agree. so would most other GMs. King would be foolish not to ask for parsons, since morey already thought he had no chance with lin + asik.

That was weeks ago. With the Lopez injury and increasing amount of team unrest, the Nets have basically zero leverage. I doubt Houston even considers the original offer at this point.

Each of Lin, Asik, and Parsons by themselves has more trade value than Deron.

i don't think it helps that even us nba fans questioned the hiring of kidd as head coach, let alone the players.

Did he ever really have the locker room to lose in the first place?

While they're at it, they can deal Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, Jason Terry, Andrei Kirilenko, Tornike Shengelia, and Tyshawn Taylor for Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Serge Ibaka, Reggie Jackson, Steven Adams, and Jeremy Lamb.

MKG35 wrote:When I read "the players don't know their roles", can't they figure this out themselves? One/two players (Either D-Will or KG or ... ) take the lead and tell them who does what or is that too simplified? A guy like Reggie Evans should only rebound, he averaged 11 rebounds per game last season. Look at him now and his playing time, what a difference it can make.

A role in a general responsibility sense is not that useful. Where are they supposed to be in a given scheme? How much do they leak out for fast break opportunities vs staying back to rebound. How hard do they show on a double? Do you funnel baseline or trap at the top of the key?

I am very far from a basketball mind but I can see an organized system at work. The Nets look like a bunch of guys playing pickup that just met.
