it's like Bledsoe thinks he's the first person to go through RFA. If someone wanted him at something better than 4/48, he would've gotten an offer.

Bledsoe is probably just waiting out the summer to see if a better offer comes his way now that most FAs are signed, if not he probably will take the 4/48.

Can he become an unrestricted free agent if he plays in Europe or China for a year? He could probably make more than the qualifying offer.

No.. he'd be a RFA when he came back.. If he wants to be unrestricted he needs to roll the dice on his knee & play 1 season for the QO.

Phoenix is basically saying go out and get a better deal if he can. If no one is offering it, he's not being cheated. It's his market value.

This, but most of the time players' egos are too big and they don't want to hear that. Bledsoe wants Phoenix to be falling over themselves to offer him the max. No successful business runs that way.

Thats the point of why its becoming irreparable. Bledoe's camp believes the reason that their 12 mil/yr offer is the only offer he's gotten is because the Suns scared other teams from offering him more.
that's why he's mad at them.

The threat of matching doesn't scare teams away if they really think you're worth it and that they can get the deal done - Charlotte made their run at Hayward despite knowing Utah wanted to keep him, but happened to miss out. Dallas went after Parsons and got their man.

If there was/is a team out there that thinks Bledsoe is worth a max deal, at a time when it is public knowledge that Phoenix has offered him a lot less than that, they would have made their move by now.

Yup. It seems like his agent is making him believe its the Suns fault that he hasn't gotten any max offers. Not the agents inability to go get him one.

If I'm a Suns fan, I'd say good riddance. At any more than 4/48, Bledsoe is no longer helping the cause, he's hindering it.
