Wolves. Wiggins + one of Towns, Okafor, or Russell >>>

Re: Which team has the brightest future?
Homer pick is Orlando, but I'm honestly not convinced by us just yet. Up until now I've felt that we had plenty of talent being held back by incompetent coaching, but we'll see. We're looking at another fairly high pick this year, and I'm still excited about the likes of Oladipo, Harris, Gordon and Payton.
I'd exclude Sacto from my thinking because I feel like they are what they are now. Karl could really help them move forward, but their money is tied up in Gay and Cousins, and I don't see a lot of room for vast improvement in their younger guys. Also excluding Philly because the keys to their future are a guy who's injured and can't play and several pieces of paper saying "I.O.U one draft pick".
Honestly, I'd go with either Minny or Milwaukee. Wolves have got Wiggins, and if a re-signed KG can impart some of his intensity into Andrew, look out. Lavine, Dieng and Bennett still have potential. They've got a decent core of vets to help the young guys develop or be used in trades.
Milwaukee have Jabari and Giannis as their blue-chip prospects, plus some more decent youth in Henson, Middleton and Ennis, and MCW, who has a chance to either kick on with his new team (or otherwise prove all the doubters right).
Would also like to see Detroit included in the poll. I'm not convinced that Reggie Jackson will explode like some think he will, but between him, Drummond, a revitalized (and hopefully returning to full health) Jennings and Monroe (if they can re-sign him), and with a coach like SVG, they have promise.

Funny how meaningless awards like the Slam Dunk contest and Rising Stars would change peoples perception so much.

Have to agree, we may not have the brightest future but we should be in the conversation.
Whose the future PG for the Pistons. I don't see them keeping Jennings if they just traded for Jackson. Both guys want to be starting PG's.

Minnesota.
Why are the Nuggets on this list instead of Milwaukee?

76ers. IF ORl dumped Harris and VUc (for Drummond?) ala MCW and KJ (and not sign Frye and BGordon) then it would be them. I am not sure they get it.

This was put up in the Hornets board a while ago. And some posters were agreeing that after Milwaukee and Minny Charlotte had the best reubuild
since we have such a great young core of Kemba, MKG, and Biyombo.
This is all I can do in the Hornets fan board

Re: Which team has the brightest future?
When your dealing with unproven situations I think it's just the nature of the fan to believe in their team
I believe Cousins will end up the best player of the teams
I think Cousins,Gay,Collison,McLemore can end up being the most talented 4 and proved they could be a damn good team prior to upheaval and with zero bench
I think George Karl might be the best coach
When your a fan of a team you have a subjective view. Question should just ask those to refrain from suggesting their team lol
Not suggesting my team I would say the Jazz have a nice front court brewing Hayward, Favors, Gobert

Funny, I voted the Magic, I think Aaron Gordon is awesome, and Payton was a good pick, too (still happy with Exum, but Gordon was who I wanted us to draft).

Assuming the Bucks were left off to make it fair on the rest.

Rudy Gobert is a monster. Lock up the women and children, because Rudy is going to run amok.

How does Philadelphia have 11 votes? I don't get it.

I think Milwaukee was left off because they are on pace to win 47 games this year. I would assume that this poll was created for the sub-.500 lottery teams. Otherwise why not just throw Cleveland, Atlanta and OKC on here too.

If Embiid gets healthy and they get a good pick this year, they could be very good. Embiid/Russell would be interesting to say the least.

Re: Which team has the brightest future?
76ers easily
Once they stop tanking they will grow into a serious powerhouse
Embiid/Noel/Saric/Top 5 pick+ several other 1st rounders
After that I got Minnesota and Utah.

People like the direction, in spite of what happened at the trade deadline. That may change if Embiid doesn't pan out like people think/hope, but for now it's a plan.

Re: Which team has the brightest future?
I'm sort of surprised that the Kings have so few votes. Cousins is still the best player on any of these teams, and I don't see much evidence that any of the other teams have guys that project to be better. Embiid for example, hopes one day he can be as good as Cousins, but no guarantee he'll get there. Kinda like how Blazers fans said they'd take Oden over Dwight because of potential, after that draft.

Because Cousins is really all they have. Stauskas looks bad so far, Mclemore is all right. They've had three coaches this season already. Tough to put much trust into their future when their front office has shown so much incompetence.
But yeah, Cousins is the best player on any of these teams. Having him is the only thing that even gets them in the conversation.

Re: Which team has the brightest future?
I voted for Utah. They already have a great frontcourt and Hayward seems to start becoming worthy of his max contract but they need to get their backcourt situation fixed.Hopefully Exum pans out.I do believe the Bucks have a bright future and the T'Wolves are in the right path.
