To answer your question, he has not signed a contract.

I hope this explains things better for you.

I hope he get's another contract and stays in the NBA. He's still only 26 and has the athleticism and skills to succeed in the league. If anything, his mindset could be a concern. Playing for a winning team might do wonders for him. Spurs might be a nice fit (or, despite Barea being there, Dallas)

Yeah, thats how I feel. He may never be more than an off the bench player but I think he could elevate into a solid 7th -8th man. Even at ninth your getting burn in this league. I dont wanna hype him up but Id like to see a year two development curve.

I think the issue on the Knicks is you got bum ass Calderon whose gonna play if nothing but to feature him and then they drafted Grant. Galloway can even do part time there. Then at SG you got Affallo and Galloway who was equally impressive but more as a 3D SG. I think Ledo will get signed as a contiuous project and you could pay him peanuts. In both cases Shved becomes a third option and we got like 2.8mil to spend. I probably wouldve signed Shved had we not blown watsed cash on Derrick Williams. I wouldve muched rather spend that money on a cheap skilled big like perhaps Andre Blatche and Shved. Called it a day. Combination way better than Derrick Williams.

Shved is a good basketball player. Great size and length, above average court vision and passing ability, can knock down the 3, and can carry a team for decent sized chunks of quarters. He's prone to take some plays off when he's not actively involved as a ball handler/play maker, but otherwise I think he can make for a solid #4 guard on a good team. He can back-up either position (preferably PG) and make spot starts without his team missing a beat so long as he doesn't get in the coaches doghouse. People rag on his defense but it has gotten better.

I know its just the Knicks, but in 16 games he averaged 14.8 points, 4.6 boards, 3.6 assists and 37% from three in 26 minutes per.

I think he's definitely worth more than Joseph who signed a 4 year/30 million, but there's also talks he wants to return to Europe if he doesn't either resign with the Knicks or go to a team where he can get good minutes. He needs to be on the floor otherwise his confidence tanks.
