If Al Horford leaves, I'd be happy to bring in Dwight.

He'd destroy team chemistry.

B-Rad wouldn't allow it!
I also think it might revitalize him not having to play next to a ball dominant SG. He was a pretty good team player in Orlando.

As a Laker fan all I can say is I've been in your shoes and be careful what you wish for. I would love to see this happen though.

For the Lakers, no. Too many young impressionable guys that could be negatively influenced by Dwight. But for a veteran led team I think he could definitely help, he's still a good player even if he's clearly not at the level he was with Orlando. Would need to be at the right price though, I don't see him as a max contract player anymore.

If his foolishness manages to lower the price tag to the $14-18 million range I could live with the antics. Don't want any part of paying him $30 million in 2020 though.

I want to see him and Harden play together forever. They deserve each other.

Any team that pays him 20mm a year will regret it's decision

under a great coach within the right system he could be elite and worth max
Fact is that momentum in games is a real thing, while not tangible itself, you can tangibly see the effect it has when teams are on runs and how it can dramatically effect the outcome of games when you can generate any momentum.

It's entirely dependent on the contract. Every team in the league would take Dwight on a $5 million per 4 year deal.

As SanDavid, Walk and jbk said above, with a bargain price, or even just discounted price, pretty sure there would be a lot of takers

But I still voted no, even at a vet min contract, I think hes too much of a distraction and has deteriorated over the years.

This stickum nonsense is just about my last straw.

He is not worth the price he will command. He will go to a team stupid enough to offer him that contract and regret it by the end of the season or the next. Its the same book all over and over again. We all know how it ends.

No, this guy peaked 7 years ago and he'd be amazing as someone who took on the role DJ has for the clippers. But he still thinks he's a superstar player and has no clue how to act.

Would depend entirely on how much I would have to pay him. I am ok with paying him $20+/year but for 3 years max. I think he can be a impactful player for the next 2-3 years. After that it probably gets messy with his injury history and declining athleticism. Anyone who signs him long term is asking for trouble.

If this was 08-11 Dwight then yes absolutely. For my team now, no we already have Whiteside who has a bad attitude and is immature.
