Sullinger is a big risk but also has the highest potential of the group. He might be a guy who needs to go to another team to get a bit of a wake up call and (hopefully) figure things out.

I doubt that the Raptors would take the risk; then again, I never would have believed they would bring James Johnson back. Wherever he goes, I'll be interested to see what happens.

Junas would be nice in LA as a stretch if we get say a Whiteside or Cousins.

Trade Randle, Clarkson, Young, and top pick for Cousins and McLemore

Sign
Kevin Durant25m
Donte Montejunas12m
Courtney Lee 12m

Get a few guys who worked with Walton in :
Brandon Rush 5m
Marresse Speights 6m

Russell - Lou- Ulis 32
Lee - McLemore
Durant - Rush - Brown
Montejunas - Nance
Cousins - Speights - Black

Sign Luke Walton

I'd like to see if Thibs could turn Terrence Jones into a real defensive stalwart that can make enough of his open 3's to stay on the floor and grab a couple boards. I think there's a pretty reasonable chance he can kind of resurrect himself in the right location.

and Sullinger's weight issue is as bad as DMo's back so I stay away from him too.

I seem to remember Jones giving Aldridge some fits back when LMA was with Portland. Think the guy can be a decent defender iirc and he had a good outside shot. Not sure why he fell out of favor in Houston. He could be a guy I see the Olshey targeting as one of his cheap reclamation projects.

Hmmm I don't remember Jones giving LMA fit (well, I certainly hope he did lol). Quite the opposite really - Jones got abused by LMA especially in the playoffs.

Regular season h2h 10 games:
LMA 25.5/11.8, TJ 6.7/3.2

Playoff h2h 6 games:
LMA 29.8/11.2, TJ 7.7/6.2 (LMA scored 90 pts on Jones in game 1 & 2 before Jones got yanked from the starting lineup)

But yeah, Jones has the tools to be a good defender. He got leaps, quickness, can block shots. In offense, he runs the floor and as PF, he has good handles. Problem is he never knows how to box out opponents. Another weird thing of him is, he always got abused by elite PFs, LMA, Blake, ZBo, you name it. He got most of his stats feasting on conference bottom feeders. Soft heart maybe? He was our starting PF for 2 season then fell out completely after suffering a string of fluke injuries plus the rise of DMo, from time to time 'good' play of Josh Smith, then Michael Beasley took all his rotational minutes. Raw talent wise, Jones is definitely above his predecessors Marcus Morris and Patrick Patterson, so I hope he finds a good home where he can thrive - just like the aforementioned two.
