I've got no skin in this series, but I'm hoping for the result that causes the most salt and drama.

Houston 4-0 sweep plz.

Rockets in 5. Just put Beverly in Westbrook. Simple.

So many people sleeping on the Rockets. I wonder what they must have done to get everyone so angry. Must be because the Rox are spoiling the MVP coronation of the designated Golden Boy.
The facts remain:
-Assist-to-turnover ratio of the Thunder is abysmal.
-Rockets has the 2nd best TS% in the league, next to the Warriors.
-2nd best OFFRTG in the league.

Good night, Oklahoma.
Reality has a Rockets bias.

Celtics fan.
We also face the Kings twice in the near future. I think it's time Yabu pays back some of that free money he's been given his entire career and bounces Fox for a nice 2 week ankle sprain.

RightToCensor wrote:It's so dumb that we can't get the announcement of our new MVP before the series starts. If there was one award that needed to be known as soon as the season ended, it's the MVP award. There's gonna be one team that takes it personal that their star player didn't win MVP, and that's gonna bring some more nastiness to this series.

I really want to see Westbrook and Harden play against each other the day after the MVP winner was announced and they come close to winning. That's gonna lead to some compelling storylines by the end of the series. At some point in the series, the loser is gonna take offence that they got overlooked for MVP and that's gonna lead to a memorable moment for a generation of fans. We might even see Harden and Westbrook play defense for the first time in five years. This could so easily turn into Iverson vs. Carter, but just way more important in a historic sense. The NBA is really missing out on a goldmine opportunity that only comes once once in a generation.

I like it more the way it is...it will be weird during the series and it will be weird when they announce it after the series is over...NBA is weird....
Fact is that momentum in games is a real thing, while not tangible itself, you can tangibly see the effect it has when teams are on runs and how it can dramatically effect the outcome of games when you can generate any momentum.

Where is this chip on your shoulder coming from? Rockets are favorites and the poll easily reflects that lol. Rockets fans being so insecure when Westbrook/Thunder are brought up.

I have Rockets out scoring the Thunder in 6.

They have too many shooters and all's they need from Patrick Beverly is to slow Westbrook down just a little bit and this gives Rockets a HUGE edge.

Im going to be the outlier here and say okc in 7 games! If okc supporting cast can play like how they did tonight and give russ some help they can push the brink.

Also I just never had faith in any dantoni team in the playoffs. If their 3 is not falling then they are realllllly in trouble where as other teams dont rely on it as much as them.

Good night, Oklahoma.

POll results so far: 83% Houston to 17% OKC, who's sleeping on them? Or is it supposed to be 100% to 0%?

Anyway. Rockets in 6.
