Signing with the same rep is how Wade, Bosh, and James colluded with Riley, fwiw. KCP is just on a 1yr deal. So, yeah, it's clearly a pretext for Magic to talk to RP and by extension James,

I'm not that big of a Lebron fan and definitely not a fan of his camp but this is bs. It's been clear for awhile now that Woj has no Lebron sources, is salty about it, and uses his rep to make people believe his bs. Which is disgusting.

As others have said, WoJ isn't reliable when Lebron is the subject of conversation.

I'm sure though that Magic and Pelinka are eyeing him, and this won't be the last we hear of something that our fo does that will be linked to a Lebron interest. Nor that it matters anyway, he'll just go where he thinks he has the best chance to beat the Warriors. This team being the Cavs, the Spurs, us or somewhere else, we (along with WoJ and everyone else) will find out 12 months from now.

This is hilarious. Lebron's camp doesn't have to reach out to anyone. He can decide the day before the season that he wants to play for the Lakers, and LAL would do what they had to to make it happen. The best I could assume for this story is that Lebron is trying to set up a new Miami and is looking for a team will little salary.

Only way this happens is if somehow Magic and Rob are able to unload Deng's contract at the trade deadline to be able to bring another max salary with him and the team shows some definite promise on the court say 35-45 wins and everyone is balling.

Woj's track record on LeBron-related stories is sketchy at best. Just sayin'.

I'd feel the same way if I had to put up with Kobe on my team for 10+ years, too....

Magic got a tough decision to make..

does he want Lebron James, a top 3 all time player

or Smartyz456, a guy who named himself after an inferior candy.

I'd rather have Lonzo Ball creating shots for Paul George and the rest of his teammates than Lebron coming in with his Iso system. Taking over the team completely and getting pretty much all of the media attention. He's a great player and he can go do that where he is now or anywhere else not named San Antonio or Washington.

The sad part about Lebron & PG13 joining the Lakers next year.....No one will be talking about the Eastern Conference anymore. Sad but this is the truth.

LeBron will even make Lonzo better ..... I do not see Lebron dominating the ball like he does with the Cavs now.

It's gong to be a really long year.

Please.

You'd be swinging on his nuts after his first triple double.

I live in Southern California and can tell you he is not popular at all amoungst laker fans. I can easily see why they wouldn't want him. It would be one of those situations where they would cheer for him solely cause he is on the roster but not cause they like him

Yup. I think the "only" way we avoid the circus/pushback the rumor mongering is if we trade for Melo cuz I just don't see LBJ leaving the supermax on the table and having Melo's bird rights could be the ace in the hole as Melo would have the ability to opt-in to '19 or opt-out and Cavs give him whatever last longterm contract that lined up with LBJ's next deal. How does he leave that even if we're the crappiest team in the league or Melo breaks down?

But man, this is gonna be worse then when we had everyone telling us in '15 that KLove was going to the LAL. Sigh. And in the end, it's all LBJ's fault for not addressing it/at least refuting the baseless claims (or for all we know, the LBJ camp is fanning them, which again, his fault)
Come at the king, you best not miss...
