He won’t make although he has a good chance. Rookies don’t get love from fans so he won’t get voted in. The coaches won’t select him because he’s a rookie. They will add veterans to the team. It’s u fair bit that’s how it is. Even LeBron didn’t make the all star game as a rookie. It’s almost like an initiation to say to rookies it won’t be this easy to make the all star game and you have to earn it and play at a high level for at least one full season before we add you to the all star team.

First player to average these numbers in this span since Scottie Pippen. Not just among rookies, but players in general. If he keeps it up and Sixers can remain at least relevant then he should.

Ben Simmons was hyped but nobody expected him to be this good and even better than advertised. The Sixers are showing excellent potential with their recent wins. Simmons high level defensive ability has been most surprising. Currently putting up 18.4ppg, 9.1rpg and 7.7 assists and looking to have found his mid range game, will Simmons make the all star team in his rookie season?
