Well they're the opposite of your team the last few years... overpaying for crap players. Mozgov, Deng etc.

And you guys traded a very good player in Russell... to clear one of those mistakes...

So if the team isnt contending.... better off being cheap.... than overpaying for 20 win seasons.

He completely botched the Bledsoe situation. You don't publically call out a player the way he did. It doesn't even matter if he was right or not. You keep stuff like that in house.

Not that the Suns had a shot with any big name FA's anyways but this just kills a high level player from ever signing with the Suns as long as this moron is their GM.

Not to mention they already have TJ Warren who plays the same position. In this league, you never turn down an opportunity to get a bona-fide superstar that's still young for someone that may or may not be good someday

If the Suns acquired Irving, what other talent on the roster would they have had to help compete for a ring?
2 year rental of Irving wasn't worth cancelling the rebuild during the Warriors juggernaut run.

Irving, Booker, and Warren aren't good defenders. Jackson can defend and the team needs that to help balance the roster.

Jackson has played 11 career NBA games. You're saying he isn't good already?

jackson is OK but nothing about him screams superstar to me.

Also, if you have a chance to build the 2nd best backcourt in the league in Irving/Booker thats also plenty young, you take it and go from there IMO

If Charlotte took Booker it might not be possible to do less in 6 years.

Not sure why you think I'm attacking the Suns, and thus feel the need to attack the Lakers ineptitude. I despise cheap owners who screw fans. Most of the Suns fans seem to feel the same way.
