I think him and LeBron would be able to beat the Warriors though. Their determination alone would get it done. Of course I could also see them looking like trash against lottery teams, etc. when the effort wasn’t there too.

So much for the often expressed myth on here that no superstar wants to play with Westbrook. At first I thought no way but then when I thought more about it if George leaves it could make some sense for both sides. Something like Westbrook and Melo for 8th pick and Love. OKC gets rid of Melos contract, gets younger and moves toward rebuilding. Cleveland would get a lot better in the immediate future and Melo would probably agree to go to Cleveland to play with Lebron. If George resigns with OKC there is no way this trade happens.

Actually didn't realize Love turning 30 in September, thought he was younger, now I don't like this deal as much for OKC.

Westbrook and Melo is $54M together...Love is $22M...need a lot more than the 8th pick

I think Lebron is going to try to hand pick a team to beat the Warriors. I don't think Cleveland has the assets, flexibility or market appeal to be the place that happens. I expect a couple of rumors linking the Cavs to attempts to get legitimate stars (like rumors about a S&T for Bosh that Bosh never would have agreed to the first time he left) over the next couple of weeks until he signs elsewhere, Cavs are going to make it look like they are doing everything possible to keep him.

I loved Josh Cribbs as a KR, but would a single tweet by a guy who isn't exactly a credible journalist really count as a "rumor"? If he was tweeting about something NFL-related, I might buy it, but this? I don't think that there's any credibility to what he's saying.

Josh is a legend in Cleveland and I believe he currently holds some sort of office job working for the Browns. I think for player personnel or development dept. So its not like he is sitting on the couch tweeting his thoughts.

Cleveland players from all 3 teams actually hangout with eachother quite often. Mostly Cavs/Browns players off the field. Indians players sorta do their own thing but will be at the games. Tristan Thompson and Joe Haden were actually really good friends when he played for the Browns and weirdly Haden would always talk in interviews like he knew the inside info from being around Tristan. He would get asked Cavs offseason questions during Browns press conferences. So its not like this would be the first time a Browns player would know inside Cavs info before the rest of the world.

Not saying that this is true from Cribbs, but given his position and how social he is with both teams. I wouldnt completely dismiss it as rubbish.
