So they sell the farm for Kawhi and then what?
LeBron+Kawhi+scrubs?

Trade 3 of the youngsters for Kawhi, sign Lebron, and trade Ball for Kemba.

It’s obvious what Lebron is doing, he wants to play on whoever gets Kawhi between LA and Philly. If neither get him then he will have a really hard decision to make since Philly is way ahead of Lakers in being contenders right now. Lebron wants to play on the team that is most stacked in the end between the two franchises.

Except Philly doesn’t have to get Kawii to still be an attractive option, they already have 2 star players. The Lakers on the other hand absolutely need Kawii to be attractive, without him they’re a starless lottery team.

My feeling is the Spurs aren’t going to rush into a Kawii trade unless somebody really loads up an offer they can’t refuse so we might not see a trade here all summer.

At this point, The Cavs probably feel really good about themselves.

Philly won't bandover for LeBron, like Cleveland did. If he is willing to come - we are glad, if not - we'll be good either way. And Embiid just told a truth.

How so? You don’t think most unrestricted free agents weigh multiple options?

You don't have to bend over, sure.
You don't have to not so subtly diss him either.

Don’t kid yourself, they absolutely might give Lebron whatever he wants, that’s what franchises do when there’s a chance to acquire the best player on the planet. He would immediatley put Philly on the top of the east and likely secure them one or more titles over the next few seasons. If they can add Kawii to the mix as well? Wow.

As long as we agree he ain't coming in that case. And you guys can remain looking up to the Celtics.

Only way Jordan's trading for ball is to beat him and his daddys butts in the gym. And hes not trading Kemba for that. Lol

If it seems like Lebron + Kawhi might go to the Sixers, it would be in the Celtics best interest to sacrifice Jaylen Brown + Sac Pick + fillers to get Kawhi before the Sixers get him first. I realize that the Celtics do not want to lose out on Brown but they really really don't want the Sixers getting Lebron + Kawhi.

It’s possible that could happen but I don’t think the spurs are in any rush to trade Kawhi right now. My thinking is that Lebron will have to make a decision first which I bet he really doesn’t want to make before the Kawhi trade. If say Lebron goes to Philly and then Philly presents a strong package to San Antonio, maybe then Boston gives the San Antonio a strong package to avoid a team like that from happening but right now Boston, San Antonio, and the Sixers likely are in no rush to get Kawhi. Lebron news is the first domino that everyone is waiting on and then you’ll see how aggressive teams are going after Kawhi depending on what happens.

Good luck carrying a 7 foot cripple and a point forward that can’t shoot

The thing is if he goes to LAL he will look up to GSW (and maybe even Hou) as well. Thats why there is no need to bandover, this is mutually beneficial.

Still think he does a stupid thing and goes to LA to lose. To many reports about that, and he at least would attend a meating if he was considered signing with Sixers.

I would be happy. The media wants a Lebron circus in LA, but that team isn't beating GS. Better for LA to develop their talent and for Lebron to goto to Philly. GS's window is 2-3 years, and that's when the Laker kids will start hitting on all cylinders.
