Trae Young: I'll be better than Luka Doncic in 5-10 years

He's not a defensive liability anymore. He just isn't ever going to be a defensive stud. He moves his feet well on defense and communicates extremely well for a rookie but since you don't watch the Hawks and give your life to your god Luka, you will never see that.

Keep that same energy when he does or wins titles.

No matter what you think about a particular fanbase, you are not allowed to advocate for them being blocked. As annoying as certain posters may be, you're only making things worse by antagonizing them. If you have a problem with a particular poster, report the troublesome post and do not engage said poster further.

He has a 116 DRtg, -2.8 DBPM. Yes, he's a defensive liability. I believe his shot selection will get better. I believe he'll cut down on his turnovers. But I don't ever believe he'll not be a defensive liability. Even Curry was only a -.7 DBPM rookie year.

The irony is, you call me a Luka stan when you, in the face of all logic, with a straight face, think Trae has a higher ceiling than Luka. That's your opinion...but you're literally in the 1% minority with that opinion. Which, objectively, makes you the "stan."

Screw it i'll back him on it go get they ass Trae you are improving leaps and bounds every week and show the ability of being a possible 25/10 PG with elite passing and playmaking ability. The one thing i think he does better than any other rookie though is getting his teammates involved and making them better. Which in the long run might actually be the most important thing of all if it attracts high quality players that want to play with him because of it.

Im really happy he said what he did and would have been pissed off if he had said otherwise and didn't think he had the abilities to be better in the long run. If you don't have the it factor and self confidence that you can be one of the best then gtfo the court as you don't deserve to be there.

I don't think you would have regretted saying that you have alot of confidence in your abilities you have trained your whole life for to be better than someone else. The way i look at it when you work that hard to earn it and are good at your craft you should never doubt you can be great.
