Wiggins wasn’t that hyped after his underwhelming college year. He was hyped in high school, which is why Embiid was considered like the true talent in that draft. I don’t think Wiggins and Parker are top 10. I think 3 guys from 2018 are ahead of them.

We need to clarify prospect pre June draft of their draft year. Or prospect coming into college

Cause Zion was only the number 3 prospect coming into Duke. He was not the number 1 prospect. But he is the number 1 prospect for his June draft.

So we need to define prospect timing.

Same with Andrew Wiggins. He was number 1 prospect heading into college. But Joel embiid was the number 1 prospect June draft (but than they found foot injury days before the draft)

I seem to remember those people making that known around 2012

No, I followed closely that draft and there was a nice amount of people thinking Durant should be the top pick. Not me, by the way.
