Way to balance out one extreme with another. In an another world there would be perfect harmony.

Montrezl is a monster, should have won 6poy, at least as good as Siakim.

Clippers pairing Kawhi with a guy that finished 3rd in MVP vote and was first team all-nba. On top of that they had an all-time record breaking bench.

Beverly has become overrated at this point. At least Lou is amazing in offense.

I don't see you laughing though, looking at your recent post history I just see a lot of salt thrown Kawhi's way.

You're a fan of the current NBA champions, you should be happy, even ecstatic. I know I will, if he manages to bring us one at some point. Whatever he decides to do after.

LeBron still killed Patrick Beverly and every other Clipper that game lol
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

Yeah probably as good as Siakam but think Siakams a better fit next to 2 main ball handlers. Much better shot, better handles/passer. But Montrezl is a beats inside

Kawhi and the Raps never had to go through James or Durant in a playoff series. Will be interesting to see how Kawhi does against one of the other top 3 players in the league in a 7 game series.

With all do respect to Spicy P don't be surprised if Trez ends up having a huge season this year. He won't get the numbers but overall he should be great this year. Especially if his handles and new shot are to be believed.

I think the teams are similarly talented but Raptors are a much better fit.

Lowrys the best playmaker of the bunch. The big man rotation of Siakam/Ibaka/Gasol is in Toronto’s favour. Raptors have more shooting in the starting lineup. And they’re better defensively top to bottom

Maybe I overrate him, but every time I saw him play last season he was very good, including vs. my Mavs. Siakim is good too, haven't seen much of him, but his PO stats looked impressive. I'd say Siakim>Harrell, coz Siakim will likely improve next season and I think Harrell has reached his ceiling.

Harrell is underrated, but you can't compare him favourably to the 2nd option on a champion.

Also, Lou Will is overrated at this point. He's not a Manu 6th man that will make the correct read every time. He's a Jamal Crawford 6th man who just likes that he doesn't have the share the ball with other stars. He's not even close to the overall talent, IQ and hustle of current Lowry, despite being a deadly scoring option.

Paul George is much better than Siakam as a second option. He's basically Siakam and Danny Green combined.

The clippers bench looked good last year without pressure. Now that they play next to some actual stars try are gonna hit a little bit of reality. It happened to Boston last year.

Everyone thought "wow you add Kyrie and Hayward to how great Boston played last year, it's going to be special," it doesn't necessarily work that way. Lwill and these guys won't have the ball in their hand as much and they won't always be getting the minutes they are used to and it remains to be seen if they can be effective in a more complementary role on a real contender.

They will still be good players but I don't think you'll see them necessarily play as well as last year. What made the raptors supporting cast so special was their ability to not only play well without kawhi but their ability to play just as well even with the ball always going to him. As I said they will still be good but I suspect they will be less effective in comparison to last year as a result.

Oh c'mon. Siakam was the 2nd option on a championship team. Harrell is not nearly that good.

Naw. I love Trez as much as the next guy but lets not get carried away. Siakam just averaged 20-8-4 in the NBA finals against one of the best defenders in NBA history as his primary assignment. Give that man his credit. He was great all year and teams actually had to game plan for him. Check his games when Kawhi was out of the line up too. He was not fluke.

Not only were the Raptors players outside of the PG/Green comparison better than the Clippers equivalent, they also had deep playoff experience. Pascal Siakam, Norman Powell and Fred Van Vleet had more playoff experience going into last year than the entirety of the Clippers roster that remains with Kawhi & George. There was like 300 games of playoff experience between Gasol, Green, Ibaka, and Lowry.

If you want to win deep into the playoffs, experience matters. Just ask the SIxers and Bucks.
