It doesn't matter who they have on the court as long as either AD or LBJ are out there during the regular season doing top 5 player stuff. When they need to shorten the rotation for the playoffs they'll still be able to get minutes out of this lot:
Rondo/Daniels
A.Bradley/Caruso/Cook
D.Green/KCP
Kuzma
Dwight/McGee

Plus i guarantee they get a 3rd star before the playoffs. They'll do better than my Celtics sadly. [What reaaly grinds my gears is i'm pissed the Celtic core are getting thrashed for this FIBA rubbish tournament, they're gonna hear about their failure all season, this wasn't the year to wear these guys out offseason, they were set up to breakout for the Celtics this season, NOT carry the USA, smh.]

KCP could, but likely won't break out. WYSIWYG on a brother D, but he could get better to the point that he becomes at least reliable from deep. He pulls that off and he could usurp Kuzma on that side of the floor.

Danny Green played 28 mpg for the Champions last year, but we shouldn't expect him to be a good rotation player for the Lakers?

Let's not forget they have two top 6ish guys and what that truly means in basketball...Forget the RS -- they'll be a playoff nightmare no doubt

The players mentioned illustrate my point

Danny Green is a really good player. He was a steal for the Lakers.

Quinn Cook not so much but at least he can shoot.

If Lebron gets injured and needs a long leave of absence, is Davis and the rest of the Lakers enough to bring the team to the playoffs?

Lakers haven't even started losing this season yet, garbage excuses for Lebron has already gotten in full swing. This is laughable.

As I said before. A team with two players in the top 6 is a team expected to win it all. Anything below a ring is a huge mark on Lebron's Legacy, and if they do win, it's not a big deal because this is the expected result.

Remember... Lebron’s last 8 years in the East, he faced ZERO first ballot HOF’ers in their prime to get to the Finals.

His first year in the big boi conference, and he suffered the worst injury of his career and was eliminated from playoff contention in March.

Lakers were out of playoff contention way before he decided to sit out.

There's a team playing in the same arena with two top 8 players with a better supporting cast.

Danny green stunk it up in playoffs. Van vleet was the unsung hero even powell was better esp in later rounds

Danny green was not the teams 4th best player, but more like 7thish and that makes all the difference.

I don’t think it’s s coincidence that Lebron suffered his 1st major injury last year as his all time minutes moved towards the top of the list. Injury risk feels much higher then the media would make it seem.

Lakers depth looks weak partially due to Lebron being so good and being difficult to replace. Any team that loses a top 5 player due to injury is going to be in trouble.

here is the deal. Kentavious is hungry and so is Cook. the backcourt is deep and versatile although no true starters and AD can thrive without always being the center of attention. Plus I think there is a carusso leap this year if he has time. should win rebounding battle every night which gives possessions. Their issue will be health and chemistry
