JB Smoove started out a little disappointing, but he killed it with the Ernie/Kenny name jokes.

If they wanted the Indian immigrant demographic, Hasan Minhaj was the clear cut option. He's a comedian, which Lilly is trying to be and an avid NBA fan.

Jeff Ross was only one worth the watch.

Russell Wilson for the Indian demographic. He's also a fan. Minhaj is just weak, sticks to being PC and can barely evoke laughter. Even bent over backwards to the Saudis.

Jeff Ross was good. They should've got Dave as well.

Bent over backward to the Saudis by having an episode dedicated to criticizing them... sure thing pal

Came here to say this lol. The Patriot Act is great, if anything it was Netflix who caved. They removed the episode but only for Saudi subscribers but they do that for a lot of countries that request things be made not available to them.

Anyone got a new link for the whole show?

I don't know who that is but if they wanted an Indian comic they should've got the guy from the Harold and
Kumar movies or Russell Peters.

Jeff Ross exists to make us miss Greg.

With that being said, I thought his bit was pretty good. JB wasn't bad either.

Overall, it was a cringeworthy event.

Jeff Ross was the best by far. Everyone else was meh to bad. Tiffany Haddish was insufferable. We get it, you're loud.

GP got on stage and it was so cringe. He complimented the entire cast instead of roasting them

I agree with you. I thought Tiffany was decent. I definitely was laughing when she was talking about how big Shaq's head is, lol.

I like Tiffany. I don't always think she's THAT funny but I like her personality. She's rich but she's still that girl from the hood. She's funny enough, she's humble and she's attractive enough.

I thought Jeff Ross was easily the funniest. I think everything he said was funny. I never realized he was that funny so I looked up some of his other roasts. When he was talking about Kenny Smith, bruh, lmfao. Kenny Smith is famous for knowing Charles Barkley. lol.

I thought JB was funny but not as funny as everyone else thought he was.

GP was bad but he's not a comedian. And Lily Singh was trash.

I could actually envision through the years Barkley telling the cops his name was Kenny Smith :P

For a highly acclaimed trash talker, GP was garbage. As was J.B.....holy ****, wtf was that corny ass even saying. Ross was in his element, the best. Russell Peters would've been funny, but it would've been a lot of kiddie jokes. Hasan knows his NBA basketball...he would have cut them deep. But instead we got the embarrasment to the south Asian community that is Lilly Singh. I didn't pay attention to her part.....did she mention she was a brown, bisexual minority woman being held down by white men, like she does ad nauseam?

I'm glad Kenny got **** on, he can never take a funny jab at himself, so stuck up, but he loves to laugh at everybody else's expense. "Kenny Smith....is the name Chuck gives to the cops"...lol. I used to like him, but he lost me when he absolutely refused to eat Halal food with the crew when the All Star game was in New York City...."I don't eat street meat"...yeah, because you're from Encino, California.... but he loves to tout his New York roots, phony ass.

Chuck and Shaq scarfed that **** down like taxi drivers after a 16 hour shift.

i wouldnt say out of nowhere, i follow stand-up scene a lot, and she def put her work in early on, her short sets weren't that bad actually back then but the bigger she got and the longer it was required for her to be funny it got old real quick

but shes friends with kevin hart and all these guys, thats why she's always gonna have work

Agreed on what I made bold. But that's what I mean. I saw many of her sets, I actually think she's cool, even naturally funny, a chick you can kick with, but compared to a lot of other female comics that have been around forever she came up fast without actually having real success as a standup. No specials, no tours, no opening gigs for big names....and bam....tv and movie roles.

That's why I don't buy that she's a stand up comic. She's a funny gal who got a lot of minor comedic roles and because of her personality blew up. But many people think she came up like a Kevin Hart or any other comic who struggled in underground hell holes and finally made it "out of nowhere"...hence the Harvey joke. Still, good for her, she seems like a good spirit.

How hard is it to be funny in a PG environment in this sensitive snowflake social justice era where everybody
wants to be offended and is a victim?

As a comedian that's gotta be tough parameters to work around even on a TNT broadcast where you can't even swear.

Hasan actually did a follow up talking about the hypocrisy of American companies who censor their own product overseas to appease their global customers. I get it....but it **** on a show like the Patriot Act, which is all about doing exposes on corporations and big name people.

Watch his fast fashion episode...it's eye opening. It made me realize why I'm the only one walking around still in Old Navy cargo pants like it's 1999.

Jay Pharoah did his thing. He deserves credit for his act.
