2. If dipo's injuries aren't a concern, yeah sure he's a top 25 players so sure he's a max guy.
3. Butler with those two would be beyond unfair for the league. That team would win a title on their defensive ability alone if they can fill in the rest of the roster.

Defensively that trio is terrific but offensively they all seem like roughly the same player in 3 different bodies. All need the ball in their hands but not really point guards, and none are great shooters. Giannis and Butler can't hit the broad side of a barn from the 3 point line and Dipo isn't much better. So the spacing would be awful and the shooters already on the Heat roster would likely be moved in the sign and trade. They are top notch players and could maybe make it work but I don't love it if I'm being honest.

Dipo was a fine 3 point shooter over the years, he's had some down years. And frankly does offense even matter if you have those 3? They'll score enough and their defense will win the a title.
Title that is funny. Jimmy almost never on the court or can't get buckets when it counts with gimpy hope I can get back to where I was that one good year I had. Giannis who sat on the bench when people were playing real basketball. I just don't see it. Giannis is do for big injury but this long rest could put that off for years if he has been training right. Miracles do happen but I would not bet the NBA is even playing ball next year or even the year after. Hope these guys saved their money.

Dipo’s injury is the worst you can have after an Achilles. Let’s pump the brakes on him returning as a foundational star.

Oladipo doesn't move the needle for me. Maybe his name holds some clout to impending free agents. Would rather go Giannis and JRich....

giannis cares about his family(mentioning milwakee as a great place for his kids), so the last place he'll want to go to is an area that treats covid in such a cavalier manner.

so never florida and you can take that to the bank

I don't get why people think Giannis should leave the Bucks. He's in a great winning situation, and seems to love the city.

It's the media hoping he moves to a larger market.

It's disgraceful.

Bam Adebayo is a free agent in the summer of 2021, are the Heat really going to pay big money to Giannis, Butler, Oladipo and Bam? Even for Miami, that seems pretty damn hefty.

So the heat want Giannis, Beal and now Oladipo while keeping Butler and Bam

I guess it worked with the Clippers all through last year. So Miami is probably just taking a page from their book. Wonder if a Miami front office rep has been to every Bucks and Pacers game like Frank Lawrence did with Toronto last year?

They'll settle for at least 1 to join the duo.

I see Giannis ultimately opting for a short term extension with Milwaukee, but if he does decide to keep his options open for 2021 free agency, Miami will be will be set up great as a potential destination, that’s for certain.

At this point it seems like Oladipo is coasting off of what looks like an outlier season in his career. He was a good player before 2018 and still very good in 2019, but 2018 was the only year of his career where he was more efficient than league average, and now he's coming off of a serious injury (where he looked really bad this year) and exiting his athletic prime.

They would have the bird rights of a lot of dangerous role players to fill in their bench. They can definitely pull this off.

But why Zooey Daschanel? She's an average girl.

MIA seems like it would be a bad move for Giannis. It would look like he was copying Lebron, except he would not have another Finals MVP caliber teammate, plus another teammate who averaged like 25/10. If he didn't win as many Titles as Lebron, he would be criticized and the comparisons would never stop.

Sure. However, they have the assets, culture/franchise, cap space and supporting stars so i like their chances of nabbing one (if any are actually looking to bolt).

Keep in mind, this isnt just any team with just anyone mentioning names to pair up. If Pat Riely has this plan hes going to make something happen. Even of this fall through. Rileys got track record at making these types of moves happen.
