Re: Oladipo looking to "move on" from the Pacers
After seeing them in the bubble, Oladipo is 95% gone. Turner is not happy with his usage, him and Sabonis on the floor at same time just doesn't mesh. For him, will depend on the deal as he still has 3? yrs left.
Expect an active offseason for trades.

Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

For LAL: Kuz, Danny Green and draft compensation for Dipo?
For MIN: Culver, James Johnson and #17 for Dipo?

I think 29 teams call about Turner should he ever be on the block. Bigs who can shoot 3’s and defend the rim at a luxury in this league, even if they’re not that dynamic offensively.

I could speculate many reasons. I'm guessing they didn't take too kindly to McMillan's dismissal. I'm sure Indianapolis is a great city, never been there, but there are more interesting places to live. We're currently in a place where a lot of teams can potentially contend for championships in the next few years: Lakers, Clippers, Warriors, Nuggets, Mavericks, Heat, Celtics, Raptors, Bucks, Nets, Sixers, and Indiana just isn't one of them. There are just a lot more exciting opportunities in the NBA right now.

Who wants to be in Indiana? Lol
That must make the Knicks extra super duper pathetic, if they have sucked this long yet people like want to be there.

He should be a top target of the Clippers.

weren't there rumours about Dipo joining Lakers?

Re: Oladipo looking to "move on" from the Pacers
The right question is: What does Indiana want in return? They are a solid playoff team with or without Turner and Oladipo IMO. Usually teams trading stars are looking for future pieces, but I feel like Indiana might prefer win-now pieces?

Love the guy
but there is a reason IND isn't just offering him max dollars to stay.
They don't get players with his talent very often. You either draft guys like him or get in a trade.
They got in a trade for their franchise guy, so he should be a major asset to them still-
but they are not offering him $$$ which is why he's looking for work already.
He's 20 mil on the books this year if you trade for him.
If you can get him with a one year look ok, but committing big $$$ to him is a huge risk.

Prime example of why there is absolutely no reason to follow the NBA if you like a small market team.

Unpopular opinion but I’d be more excited for that team than the one PHI has at full strength currently.
Oladipo
Richardson
Harris
Simmons
Turner
I can’t see why IND would think Embiid and Sabonis would work, though.

Outside of the Knicks, what franchise is crazy enough to give up anything of value for Oladipo?

Is Indianapolis the 11th most populous city in the country?

This isn’t Knicks level of crazy. I could see at least 10 teams putting in offers. A buy low guy with possible big returns. Why not?
