Pippen's career is littered with series in which he struggled to score or even be an adequate playmaker. I'm not saying this to degrade him, he's a top 40 player all time and probably the best perimeter defender ever - but he wasn't some perfect fit to Jordan that people make him out to be (i.e., there are other players Jordan could have won championships with).

A bunch of lame playoff series against the weaker Leastern Conference...and let's not forget even after creating his first super team he still needed Ray Allen one of the greatest shooters ever to beat the Spurs in fluke fashion, and let's not forget when he quit on the 2018 Cavs to get half the team traded and then did the same thing in LA.

With that said basing on the narrative here... Can we compare Lebron to Robert Horry who jumped from title favorite to title favorite since they basically didn't achieve anything without stacking the deck with a super team?

Or is Lebron immune from that kind of narrative?

He scored 63 points in the playoffs against one of the greatest teams of all time.

Also in their last game together Jordan had 45 points and Pippen had 8. In the last 2 minutes Jordan scored, stole the ball, and then scored again. No other Chicago Bull touched the ball.

In 1998 Pippen only played in 44 games and the Bulls won 62 games.

Stop trying to downplay the greatest of all time. Its not going to change the narrative. Lebron is no way near Jordan's level. However, in my opinion, LBJ is most likely the greatest athlete of this generation and #2 ALL TIME B-Ball player

It's well know OP that Jordan won titles with well above average supporting casts. It's also well known that Michael Jordan was a tremendous basketball player well before the Bulls had the roster improved around him.

People still acting like Pippen was some life changing lottery pick for the Bulls. The man started out on the Bench and worked his way up into the lineup. He became a legend while working hard next to Jordan. It's funny to me how alot of the same people who ask such questions as this thread will turn around and try to remind someone else in another thread that the NBA is a team game.

He won the title in 2016 with no others all stars in his team(The cavs won against a team with 3 players in the all-NBA team)...He also won 66 and 61 wins in 2009 and 2010 with Mo Williams as the second best players of the cavs.He also make the finals in 2007 at 22 years old with a very average roster at best.
