It happens a lot post finals as the winning team celebrates together. I mean Lakers were jumping around in a huddle for some time, you just expect the Heat players to stick around? They’ll no doubt see them after the game. No big deal

Im repeating myself from the '2020 Champions' thread, but I doubt it had much to do with the guys you wanted to see them kissing the ring of. The Lakers had a LOT of mouths on that bench that I'm sure didn't go unnoticed over the course of 6 games. Win with class, and I'm sure the losers would be a lot more incentivized to take the loss with class.

It is prolly poor sportsmanship, but I doubt the Lakers care. They won the ship. That's what counts. The Heat may not even make it back because they'll have to extend Bam Adabayo and take care of their own roster, i.e. won't have enough money to invest in a top player in order to come back.

They are a tough minded team off the rip, they are NBA players that devote a majority of their time trying to improve as basketball players, and they spent a few months in a bubble. This isn’t just a pickup basketball game it was the NBA finals, and they came so close as the underdogs to pulling off an upset, after making it so far. Lol surely we can judge them less harshly for just wanting to get the night over with and not shaking hands

Definitely have to keep this one book marked for a long time. Today I learned walking off the court is because they’re tough minded and gritty. Could have sworn I was told different in the past week.

Seems like a lot of players from other teams have lost respect for the Lakers and specifically LeBron James. Something seems to have happened since that boycott meeting.

Also if you watched the sidelines throughout these playoffs, the Lakers bench acted like clowns throughout. This has been pretty common with LeBron James led teams when they're beating other teams. I can understand team not wanting to shake hands with players who show a complete lack of respect for other teams.
