IMO Gobert and Simmons are the only two choices. Teams for the most part stopped attacking Embiid so he doesn't get to show off his impact as much. Gobert is a paint beast and Ben locking down perimeter players like Dame in a way no else seems to do today while still having an impact on the boards.
Gun to my head? Damn...Gobert cannot be denied, but Simmons in a way is more impressive, as he has to initiate his team's offense as well. He expends so much energy in both ends.

He has to give up too much retreat space to elite guards in a 1 on 1... he would probably be second or third on my list tho.
