They’re great defenders, but the guys on the poll are better tbh.

I whole heartedly disagree .. again.. watch them play for a few games .. there’s a reason superstars get shut down when they play the Raps ( or at least shoot under their avg)

“Watch the games” is a poor evaluation of this. Again, they’re great defenders, but I don’t choose them above those on the poll.

Having said that, OG is the only one I can see with some form of argument to be on the poll, and is definitely able to rise and improve in order to be in that top echelon of present-day defenders. I don’t think FVV can get much better than his current excellent defensive prowess though, largely due to size.

I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree ! Cuz they are both elite, elite defenders !! And easily as good as good as everyone on this list !

People really think Simmons is the 2nd best defender in the league? Yikes.

Bruv, there is no way Simmons is the 2nd best defender in the league on a team with Embiid, Thybulle, Green and Dwight, and they only have a -2.5 rDRtg... That team should be better than the Lakers defensively if Simmons was really that good of a defender.
