I've never seen Joe Harris so open
U should check out hen nets record without harden vs their record without durant.
Hint: what you’re saying makes absolutely no sense
Check the lineup net ratings you idiot. The harden and Harden/Kyrie lineups are by far the worst of any lineups featuring any of the big 3, and as someone that watches all nets games the eye test supports it. Harden ball puts a cap on how good the team can be although they do wonders for his stats. A 20/6/8 Harden shooting 50/40 is way better than a 30/10/10 harden shooting 40/30 with 5 turnovers
The record after KD was hurt is due to 1) the team gelling 2) Claxtons defense 3) Nash finally figuring out what he wants to do with the team
Cannot believe how KD clans are willing to bash Nets most reliable player on their own team to prop their hidden gem, as if more loss on Harden would further benefit KD...

Re: Kevin Durant is the best player in NBA
Durant isn't close to being the best player in the NBA. He's an anti-competitive p*ssy who stacks talent so he can shoot over single coverage all day and mask the obvious flaws in his game that were exposed every year he wasn't playing on literally the two most talented teams in NBA history.
He needs an all-NBA level guard next to him because he can't create team offense at a high level, be the primary ball handler, or get out of traps or doubles because of his weak handle. He needs shooters so he can do what he does best and isolate on mismatches in the high/low post. He needs a high level defensive anchor because his offensive needs typically create defensive holes that he isn't strong or smart enough to cover himself as a help defender even at 6'11. It's no coincidence that his team checked these boxes in all of his best playoff runs (2012, 2017-2019). Whenever he's found himself outside cushy situations his turnovers have skyrocketed and his efficiency has plummeted in the playoffs. Brooklyn is so broken offensively that they won't even need the defense but by no means has he played under normal circumstances for a superstar.
Look what going to Brooklyn did for LMA. Struggled when he had to play for a normal team where defenders could help off his teammates, then goes to Brooklyn and can isolate on anyone he wants and looks like a star again. Right hand bitch boy Blake Griffin sandbags to get out of his contract, goes to the Nets and starts shooting like 15% above his career average TS%. KD got the same boost only he's the ~7th best player in the league instead of the 50th.
LeBron, Giannis, AD, Curry, Kawhi, Harden, and Embiid are all better than him and Jokic and Doncic are about the same level. Given the same circumstances they'd be putting up similar if not better stat lines than he has this season.

KD is healthy now but not playing. You better know him personally or otherwise you won't convince me.
With an exact agreement of $153,312,846 million for four years, James will pocket an average of $38.3 million per season, about $467,000 per game played, $117,000 per quarter, $9,700 per minute and $162 per second.Sep 6, 2018. Source Good questions asked on Google.
And that's just off the NBA, not investments, and not endorsements.

Re: Kevin Durant is the best player in NBA
A healthy Kevin Durant is easily the best player in the NBA, and he has been since 2017, as someone mentioned.
Only haters and devoted LeHomers would argue otherwise.

LeBron is always the best player in the league, everything else is just a cute theoretical. KD isn't necessarily better than Harden.
But this is the most talented Big 3 ever. Knock on wood a thousand times, health is all that's in their way.

Re: Kevin Durant is the best player in NBA
As others have said, he really is the ultimate what if... his accomplishments and legacy and all time ranking will be questioned long after he retires imo. As for if he’s the best player in the nba, I’m not sure Portland is better if you replace him with dame. Or the Lakers with Lebron. Or the warriors with steph. Etc etc.
He’s obviously amazing, but how good is he when he doesn’t have an mvp candidate as a sidekick? How good is he when teams can focus their defence entirely around him? Who knows...

Re: Kevin Durant is the best player in NBA
Durant has never been the best player in his teams, not even top 2.
In OKC 2011-2012, Harden and Westbrook were better
2012-16, Westbrook and Ibaka better
2017-2019, Curry and Green better
Now? Harden, and Kyrie are better and one can make the case for aldridge possibly being better
Durant has played on stacked teams his whole life. Hes a glorified jump shooter that feeds off of elite talent to get open shots.
Op and durant fans are clowns

I mean I can agree Westbrook, Curry, Green, (throw in Klay if you want) Harden, and Kyrie, but Ibaka? Come on...

Best player in the NBA? I dunno there’s this dude named Lebron
Durant has a very what if legacy imo. I think he has a top 12 all time resume in terms of accolades once he’s finished or higher but his legacy is a fair way behind players playing right now (LBJ, Curry).
He still hasn’t led his “own” team to a championship. Even this year is questionable Nets have a 28/5/6 3rd option on 50/40/90 basically ffs
Greatest Mercenary 100%.
He's definitely behind LBJ legacy wise but not Curry. He was the best player on the Warriors last 2 championship teams, and won 2 finals MVPs.

Curry is a revolutionary probably has had the biggest effect on the game bar none.
Unanimous MVP.
Yes SSOL/Nash/Dantoni was beforehand, but once Curry won in 15 look at the 3PA attempts skyrocket, the cat as they say is forever out of the bag. Look at how much Curry is emulated. Forever changed the game
Durant is ATG but his legacy doesn’t stack that well imo. Don’t think he’ll be remembered as fondly as the other two. Could be wrong but it will always be Curry’s team, and Durant is a fair way behind LBJ.
I’m way more impressed with MVP takeover Durant in 14 and a young 23 yr old Durant averaging 30 in the 2012 finals as OKC’s best young player over basically everything else.

Dirk was more revolutionary than Tim Duncan with his ability as a 7fter to hit 3's. He made it normal for big guys to shoot 3's and changed the game by doing it but nobody would say legacy wise Dirk is better than Duncan. I feel the same when it comes to Curry and Durant. Curry losing to Lebron in '16 will always be etched in a lot of people's minds and the fact that the Warriors had to get Durant to overcome Lebron is also a bad look for Curry's legacy because he couldn't do it himself. Durant was clear cut the best player on the Warriors. Right now he doesn't get credit because of all the hate for joining the Warriors but 10-20 years from now when the hate is faded it will be obvious that he was the best player on those Warrior title teams and not Curry.

Never have seen him do anything to prove it...
Came close in OKC but left that situation. This year, Harden is clearly ahead of him on his own team.
