I’d be surprised if not all NBA players can dunk. I’ve seen a handful of average Joe’s at the local la fitness dunk and they’re under 6 ft.

I doubt many white PGs could dunk, luke ridnour, luke jackson, mcconell and Nash.

Facundo Campazzo. There is zero chance that dude can dunk.

Edit: Nvm. Just watched him dunk in a EuroLeague game.

The answer to this question is literally everyone or everyone outside of Muggsy for a very very long period of time, potentially back to the 60s or 50s. I have absolutely no doubt that all of the current players can dunk and for most of them there is probably footage (could be during warmup for instance).

Able to dunk in a warmup? Everyone, including all those 'white PGs' (it was straight up racist comment, btw).
Want to dunk in a game? Not everyone.
There was a thread about why Patty Mills stopped dunking not a long time ago.

I'm sure Stockton could dunk, but I don't think he ever did in an NBA game. I sorta remember a teammate of his who says he dunked in practice before and asked Stockton why he wouldn't dunk in a game, and Stockton told him that a layup was just a higher percentage shot. Which does sound like something he'd say, but I don't know for sure if that's true.

He could dunk in practice when he was a Celtic. Just didn't really bust it out in games because it was a 50/50 proposition on whether he'd get a highlight or end up on Shaqtin a Fool.

[Edit: Oh, you meant Isaiah Thomas. If you spell it correctly, you don't have to specify which one.]
Isiah Thomas putback dunk:

I'm definitely among those who would expect any NBA player to be capable of dunking. I've played with and against lots of sub 6 foot-tall nobodies who could dunk easily.

I once read Adrian Dantley say he never tried to dunk in a game because he never wanted to go up and have indecision about whether to dunk or not.
Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Yesterday I was lying; today I'm telling the truth.

I'm like 99% sure I read somewhere that Stockton dunked once early in his career. He said he had a breakaway opportunity and threw one down to impress the guys on the bench. None of his teammates had any sort of reaction, so he just decided that layups were easier and that dunking wasn't worth it if wasn't going to hype up anyone

Steve kerr said he could never dunk. There's probably been a few others over the years but not many.

Terrible video, but that’s Kerr. He’s even old. All NBA players can dunk, sans the insurance salesmen that Wilt and Russell played against.
